How to Teach Your Child to Love the Holy Quran?
*1. Recite yourself, so that they learn by watching:*
A child does what they see their parents doing. Read the Quran for a short time daily so that they consider the Quran a part of life.
*2. Gift them a Quran with their name on it:*
A beautiful Quran with the child's name written on the cover. They will realize that this is *my* Quran—a connection will be formed from the heart.
*3. Record your child's own recitation:*
When they recite the Quran, record their voice, then listen to it with love and praise them. This will increase their enthusiasm for recitation.
*4. Express joy at every success:*
When they complete a lesson or section, give them a gift, a note of appreciation, or their favorite thing. This will solidify the joy of learning the Quran in their heart.
*5. Tell Quranic stories:*
Before going to sleep, tell them stories of the prophets and righteous people from the Quran so that the Quran becomes the language of their heart.
*6. Instill the greatness of the Quran in their heart:*
Tell them that it is the word of Allah, higher than all books. Be a practical example of its etiquette, cleanliness, and respect.
*7. Visit a Quranic school:*
Sometimes take the child to a Maktab or to the Qari Sahib, so that they can closely feel the environment and love of the Quran.
