; Don't be helpless, be strong;

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, who gave us life, gave us the strength to be patient in difficulties, and promised ease in every hardship. May blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who became a beacon of guidance in this world by teaching us courage, perseverance, and trust in Allah.
It is natural for difficulties, worries, trials, and moments of failure to come in human life. Every person at some point feels that they are weak, their strength is running out, circumstances are overwhelming them, and their heart is filled with despair. Facing failure; sorrow; loneliness; and confusion; sometimes the heart becomes weak; hope begins to fade; and a person feels helpless; powerless and unsupported; but the religion of Islam does not teach us to give up in the face of circumstances, but advises us to abandon despair and strengthen ourselves.
Islam introduces us not to weakness but to strength, it teaches us to connect not with despair but with hope.
Allah Almighty says in the Quran:
> "And do not be weak and do not grieve, and you will have the upper hand if you are believers."
(Aal-Imran: 139)
That is, O believers! Do not be weak, do not grieve, you will prevail if you are believers. Is this not a message that our faith gives us strength? The end of weakness and the beginning of strength begins with faith!
Similarly, Allah says:
> "Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease."
(Ash-Sharh: 5-6)
By repeating this twice, Allah has instilled hope in our hearts that with every difficulty there is ease, after every dark night there is morning.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
> "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, and in everything there is good. Strive for what benefits you, seek help from Allah and do not be helpless!"
(Sahih Muslim)
That is, a strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, and in every situation there is good. Seek what benefits you, seek help from Allah and do not be helpless!
This is the real lesson—to increase your strength through prayer, patience, and effort, not to be afraid of difficulties, and to spend each day with the pleasure of Allah.
When worry prevails, take refuge in Allah to strengthen the heart:
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ – “Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ – “O Allah! Include me among the patient.”
اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً – “O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy.”
رَبِّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ – “O Lord! Help me in Your remembrance, gratitude, and excellence of worship.”
These prayers transform restlessness of the heart into peace, fear into certainty, and despair into hope.
Ameerul Momineen, Syyedna Hazrat Ali (R.A.) says:
"Do not let sorrow take over your heart, for sorrow kills the heart."
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (R.A.) says:
"Know that your strength is in your patience and determination."
Winston Churchill's saying also awakens the heart:
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
Success is not the final destination and failure is not devastating, the main thing is to maintain courage.
Dale Carnegie says:
"Do not be afraid of difficulties, for they are the stepping stones to success."
Difficulties are the stepping stones to success, do not be afraid of them!
1. Make prayer a habit – praying five times a day will give peace to your heart and increase your courage.
2. Make prayer a part of your daily routine – ask Allah for help in the morning, evening, and in times of trouble.
3. Set small goals – give the day a purpose and try to achieve it.
4. Adopt positive talk – say to yourself: “I am a servant of Allah, He is with me, I will succeed!”
5. Avoid criticism – instead of blaming yourself after failure, accept the opportunity to learn.
6. Take care of your health – make sleep, diet, and exercise a part of your strength.
7. Choose your company – spend time with good, motivated, religious people.
8. Help others – service makes a person strong, gives peace to the heart and comfort to the soul.
9. Make experiences lessons – find a new lesson in every difficulty.
✅ When you feel weak, pray immediately and keep repeating this verse:
"Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease"
, when someone ignores your success, remember that Allah is your helper in every situation.
, when there is failure, say to yourself: “This test is making me stronger, I must not lose courage!”
. Every day is an opportunity for new hope, do not waste it.
. The purpose of life is not to run away from troubles, but to face them. If we consider ourselves weak, helpless, and powerless, difficulties will bring us down, but if we consider ourselves strong, courageous, and trusting in Allah, difficulties will take us to new heights.
Remember:
. Strength is not physical, it is of will
. Facing difficulties refines a person
Allah's help is always with those who do not give up
✔ We will face troubles, we will not run away from them
✔ We will make our prayers our strength
✔ We will achieve our goal through patience and action
✔ We will not give place to despair in our lives
✔ We will overcome every difficulty by trusting in Allah
✔ We will strengthen ourselves so that we can help others
Helplessness is a state, strength is a choice. Difficulties will continue to come, but those who strengthen themselves with their faith, patience, prayer, and action overcome the trials of life and achieve success.
Therefore, remove from your heart the thought that "I am helpless", and instead instill the message that "I will become strong, Allah will help me, and I can overcome every difficulty".
O Allah! Give us the courage with which we do not fall into despair, the patience with which we can face difficulties, the determination with which we reach our destination, and the light with which our hearts are illuminated. Remind us of Your promise and reward us with Your help in every test..
Aameen, Ya Rabb-al-Aalameen.
