It was Sunday morning. The sun was rising from behind the curtain of night with full splendor, as if announcing something new. The chirping of birds was making the atmosphere pleasant. Dew was adorning the tiny buds in a charming way. The nightingale was also singing a new tune today. The road from Kanganwal to Malerkotla was decorated in such a way as if it had gotten a chance to welcome someone after ages. The gentle breeze was filling the heart with joy and happiness, and the birds were flying in the sky from their nests in search of food. In this heavenly atmosphere, Mianji was taking his 7-year-old beloved son (respected father) to the madrassa on a bicycle. The moisture in Mianji's eyes was expressing the pain that every father feels when his innocent child is being separated from him. But when his face turned towards his beloved son, the same moisture would turn into a charming smile, and the series of advice would begin...
The journey was passing by___
As the destination was getting closer, Mianji's heart was becoming weary in the separation of this innocent child. But what was it all for? What was it that had shaken Mianji so much? The answer is the concern for the afterlife for himself and the coming generations!! It is this concern that, when awakened within someone, makes them see the manifestations of God's power in all directions. This concern is like a fire that consumes all worldly concerns besides itself... Mianji's evenings and mornings were spent in this concern. How could a person who would be restless if a child came home late at night be ready to separate his beloved from himself? Contemplation comes to rest on the same conclusion that I have mentioned: the concern for the afterlife had shaken him. And with this concern, he was steeling his heart and going to separate his beloved from himself. The madrassa was near. The speed of the bicycle began to slow down. Mianji's series of advice was also about to end, so while giving the last piece of advice, he said:
Son, the sole and fundamental purpose of separating you from myself and entrusting you to these four walls is the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger. And this is such a central purpose towards which all worldly and religious purposes come together. I pray to Allah that He may give practical shape to our purpose.
The child said "Ameen" in a soft voice.
Mianji, stopping the bicycle, said, "Son, check the residential items, is anything left behind?" Now the bicycle had stopped.
It is left.................
