🎤 Speech: Youth and Reformation of the Ummah
(🖋️ Muhammad Masood Rahmani Arariavi)
Beginning:
Respected President and my dear colleagues!
How beautifully a poet has said:
Beyond the stars, there are other worlds too,
There are still more trials of love to go through.
You are an eagle, flight is your task,
Before you, there are other skies too.
Today, the Ummah of Muslims stands at a crossroads, and the responsibility to bring it out of there rests on the shoulders of us youth. No one will come from outside to reform the Ummah, rather this change will arise from within us.
*Importance of Character:*
If we want the Ummah to hold its head high with pride, then we have to make our character like that of our predecessors. Revolution does not come from mere words:
*Life is made by action, heaven and hell too*
*This earthly being is neither luminous nor fiery in its nature*
{»Education and Awareness:»}
We have to hold the Quran in our hands and also the sword of modern sciences. Until we lag behind in the field of knowledge, the world will not recognize our leadership. Iqbal, while awakening the youth, said:
*When the eagle spirit awakens in the youth*
*It sees its destination in the skies*
*Message of Unity:*
For the reformation of the Ummah, it is necessary that we erase the divisions and become like one body:
*Be one, Muslims, for the guardianship of the Haram*
*From the shores of the Nile to the land of Kashgar*
*Conclusion:*
Friends! Arise and awaken this sleeping nation with your character, your knowledge, and your passion. Remember:
*Iqbal is not hopeless of his desolate land*
*If it gets a little moist, this soil is very fertile, O Saqi*
*May God acquaint you with a storm*
*That there is no turbulence in the waves of your sea*
For the value of time:
*Do not be heedless, the world is very fast-paced*
*The one who sits down tired is the one who fails*
