Universe's Creator - Why is He Only One? — An Intellectual and Quranic Study
**********************
When a person acknowledges the existence of the Creator of the universe, the question inevitably arises: Is this Creator one or many? And if one, is He also worthy of worship?
The concepts of various gods in the world have confused humanity, but reason, nature, and observation of the universe clearly testify that the Creator of the universe is one, and He alone is the one true God. This article is an attempt to briefly clarify this
truth in a decisive manner in the light of the Quran, reason, and logic.
In the above article (57), you have understood that indeed the Creator (Allah) exists and He is the one true God, and only He can be worshipped because the one who is the true Creator is also worthy of worship. Even today, the world is an idol house of many gods, while Allah's proof has been completed. But here, in every street and corner, thousands of gods are imagined. Now, a simple-minded person gets confused and asks: Is there only one Creator who brought the universe into existence? Is there only one true God who can be worshipped?
Yes, the entire universe, life, death, paradise, hell, all have one Creator (Allah), and He is the one true God. Only He can be worshipped.
Now, let's understand the very important and decisive points:
(1) The Being who initiates existence, who brings existence from non-existence, who is the Creator and Owner of everything—that single Being is only Allah.
If there were two or more gods in the universe, each god would want to impose his will, each would create his own separate creation, thus there would be conflict in the universe
chaos; there would be a dual system.
But: the sun is revolving at a fixed speed; the earth is stable in its speed and orbit; rivers, seasons, wind, heat... all are subject to one principle. Therefore, this extraordinary order, harmony, and continuity are definitive proof that the Creator of this universe (Allah) is one.
The Holy Quran clearly declares:
> ﴿ لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ لَفَسَدَتَا ﴾
(Al-Anbiya: 22)
"If there were gods other than Allah in the heavens and the earth, both would be ruined."
This verse states a rational law:
Two or more rulers can never run a system. If there were really two gods:
One would want rain, the other sunshine;
One would give life, the other death;
One would make a law, the other would oppose it.
As a result? The system would break down, the laws of nature would be disrupted, and the universe would be destroyed. But the reality is the opposite:
Every particle in the universe is subject to the same command—
This is the clear proof of the oneness of the Creator; if (God forbid. Repeating disbelief is not disbelief) it is assumed that there are two or more gods, then it must be assumed that they have separate properties.
As some theories say that the earth has a separate god and the sky has a separate god,
Or partnership between gods—like the doctrine of the Trinity. Both these concepts are against reason and logic, because:
Separate ownership means limited authority. Partnership means consultation and dependence. And the one who is limited, needy, or in need of consultation
cannot be an absolute God.
A God who is helpless, has incomplete power, or has limited authority
Neither reason accepts, nor nature, nor logic.
The Quran expresses this truth as follows:
> ﴿ مَا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ ۚ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَٰهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ ﴾
(Al-Mu'minun: 91)
"Allah has not taken any son, nor is there any god with Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what he created."
This verse clarifies that. The concept of multiple gods inevitably leads to chaos, conflict, and destruction,
While we see a connected, stable, and perfect system. Similarly, every corner of the universe is running under the same laws: such as
Principles of physics. Principles of chemistry. Principles of biology. Gravity. Speed of light
If there were more than one creator, each god would make his own law,
But the laws in the universe are always uniform and united. So it is proven.
One law → One Creator.
Translation: Allah is the Creator of everything.
Translation: Ask! Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? People will say: Allah.
This is proof that human nature itself testifies that the Lord is one.
Translation: Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth... there are signs (of Allah's oneness) for people of understanding.
(Aal-Imran: 83)
Translation: And everything in the heavens and the earth submits to Him.
The Lord who rules over all can only be one;
If there were many gods, there would be conflict in obedience.
Translation: Blessed is He in whose hand is the kingdom.
The kingdom is "in one hand", if it were in two hands, the Quran would not have said so.
The most comprehensive declaration of Allah's oneness
Is Surah Al-Ikhlas (the essence of Tawhid)
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] one.﴿اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ﴾Allah is independent.﴿لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ﴾He neither begets nor is born
And there is none comparable to Him.
These four verses are the summary of the entire religious philosophy of the universe. "Therefore:
Such a great, organized, and harmonious universe is itself declaring that:
The Creator is one - the Owner is one - the Ruler is one -
And He is Allah_
This oneness is not only the voice of the Quran - but also
The unanimous decision of reason, nature, and observation of the universe.
O Lord of the universe!
Enlighten our hearts with Your knowledge, protect our minds
From misguidance, and keep us steadfast on Tawhid. Amen
         Note
For further depth in these facts, the study of scientific subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology is very useful; here only a hint is intended, because every law of the universe testifies to the oneness of the Creator.
For further strengthening and stability, some Quranic verses have been presented, which combine reason, observation, and revelation—all three—to clarify the truth.
