The noble leader's (Aqa-e-Namdar) life is a source of guidance and salvation for the entire humanity in every era. His life is a beacon for the common and elite, in the light of which a person can live a successful life. There is no aspect of life in which the teachings and guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are not present. He was the messenger and guide who invited mankind to the religion of nature and did not care for his life in this struggle. He stood firm against all false powers and endured all unpleasant treatments. He ended the ignorance of Arabia, reformed people's vile habits and cursed characteristics, and guided countless lost souls to the path of guidance.
He eliminated all the customs that were deadly poison for the society and formed a righteous society in which there was no trace of error and misguidance.
So, there was a need to write down the life of such a holy personality and a perfect human being so that his life could be benefited from in every era.
The world saw when his devotees took up the pen, they recorded every movement, speech, action, motto, and style of his life. They not only inscribed it in books but also made his way of life an integral part of their lives and made every effort to spread it.
Biography writing (Seerat Nigari) is an important part of this effort so that the picture of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) life remains in front of people in every era, and people can live their lives in the same way.
People wrote three types of books on this: (1) High (2) Medium (3) Low
High-level books, which are detailed and comprehensive in hundreds of pages and volumes, contain every event and situation in detail with evidence and proofs. These books are for people who have a scholarly and research-oriented mind.
Medium-level books are for those who are busy with other matters and find it difficult to understand and study research books. So, there are medium-level books for them, which present a relatively detailed picture of the Prophet's life so that they can incorporate it into their lives.
Low-level books, in which the Prophet's life is mentioned briefly and comprehensively, and all the contents of the Prophet's life are mentioned briefly so that those who are far from reading, writing, and such activities and are not very educated can also benefit from its study. So, for this purpose, biographers have written books in a very simple style and easy language so that every common and special person can feel the Prophet's life, the best example (Uswa-e-Hasna), in front of them.
No one in history has been mentioned in this way (as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been) so that no ordinary person is deprived of it.
Among the easy books of Seerat in Urdu language, the popularity of Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shafi Usmani Sahib's book "Seerat Khatam-ul-Anbiya Aujaz-us-Seer li Khair-il-Bashar" is evident to everyone.
The book consists of hundred pages which can be read in one sitting.
The author himself says about it that this book was included in the syllabus of many schools in the country within 100 days. Hakim-ul-Ummat Hazrat Maulana Ashraf Thanvi (RA) himself included it in his madrasa syllabus.
Even today, this book is taught to the students of the initial grades so that some part of the Prophet's life is briefly imprinted on their minds and it becomes easier to read and understand the book in the future.
The special feature of this book is that it also provides brief and satisfactory answers to the objections of non-Muslims and orientalists regarding the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) multiple marriages and Jihad. Specific things have also been mentioned under the title of miscellaneous events.
And the annotator has refuted some famous things that have no reality by adding a research footnote and has mentioned the correct thing.
This humble writer had not read this book in the beginning but had read another book.
I ordered this book in the first year, but after a few pages, it could not be studied. I don't know where it went.
Then this year, by the grace of God, I was blessed to buy this book and completed its study in a few hours by abandoning other engagements.
Men, women, and children who read Urdu should definitely study this book. InshaAllah, a sketch of the Prophet's life will surely be imprinted in their minds, which will help them to live their lives in its light and make it pure.
May Allah Almighty grant the author of the book a high position in Jannat al-Firdous.
May Allah reward those who have transformed it into a modern style and explained the words. Amen.
