Fatima is a very virtuous and pious woman. She constantly strives to learn, understand, and act upon the commands of Allah Almighty and the blessed sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Whatever she learns, she first acts upon it herself, and she also tells her children about religious matters and encourages them to act accordingly. When her children do good deeds, she also encourages them by giving them gifts.

In today's Quran lesson, she learned about inner diseases. The teacher encouraged her to study the third volume of the book "Ihya Ul Uloom" to gain more information about inner diseases. So, she started studying. As she read about these diseases, she made intentions to protect herself and her children from them. When she finished her study, she started informing her children about these diseases.

She called all her children to her, loved them, and said in a loving manner: My dear children! Today I am going to tell you about such diseases that are not visible outwardly; but they are much more dangerous than physical ailments. The children asked with great surprise: Mother! What are these diseases that are not visible?

Fatima said: Listen carefully! And make the intention to avoid these diseases, so that you may receive blessings. Just as physical diseases weaken our body, similarly, there are diseases of the heart that make our heart impure. My dear children! Always avoid these diseases.

First of all, I will tell you about envy. To put it simply, envy is wanting someone's blessings, wealth, beauty, or knowledge to be taken away from them. For example, Uzma is very beautiful among all of you, so looking at her beauty, you all secretly wish for her beauty to be taken away.

Now, how to avoid it? So, first of all, you all have to consider that if Uzma is beautiful, who has given her beauty? Tell me everyone? All the children said: Allah Almighty. Fatima said: When the giver is Allah, then be content with His will and be grateful to Allah Almighty in every situation. And if envy ever arises, then pray to Allah Almighty to protect you from this disease.

The second disease is hypocrisy, that is, showing off. Tell me! Who do we all worship? All the children said together: Allah Almighty. Fatima said: Doing any good deed to show people other than for the pleasure of Allah Almighty is called hypocrisy. For example, Ali recites Naat Sharif very well. If he recites Naat Sharif in front of his friends with the intention that he should be praised and people should applaud him, then he has committed hypocrisy.

To avoid hypocrisy, always remember that whatever good deeds we do; do it only and only for the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Because Allah Almighty is the one who will reward every good deed of ours, not people. If any good deed is done with the intention of showing it to people, then no reward will be given for it.

The third disease is suspicion, that is, believing someone to be bad without any proof. For example, if I give Uzma a thousand rupees and she does not tell you all that mother has given her money. And when you all see the money with her, then believe that Uzma has stolen the money.

The cure for this disease is that you should keep an eye on the good qualities of people. If a bad thought ever comes to mind, then immediately pray in the court of Allah Almighty that O Allah! Make me one who has good thoughts and protect me from bad thoughts. InshaAllah Almighty! Allah Almighty will have mercy.

Okay children! Now tell me, have you understood anything about these diseases? All the children said: Alhamdulillah! Yes, mother! We have understood very well and InshaAllah Almighty! We will try our best to avoid these bad diseases.

Fatima also thanked Allah and prayed that O Allah! By Your grace and mercy, protect us all from spiritual, physical, mental, and heart diseases and make us grateful to You in every situation. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds!
