Drama is always a collection of imagination and fictional characters that have no connection to reality. In today's social media age, different types of dramas have become a part of our lives very quickly.
It is a matter of regret that some parents, despite entering the faith, are deprived of the light of faith and are heedless of the fear of God, and are themselves caught in the epidemic of these dramas, which are inviting not only them but also others to stray.
These dramas are leaving such deep impressions on the minds of the new generation that they are moving away from the basic principles of morality and society.
The imaginary scenes presented in dramas become reality for the youth and, becoming a part of their lives, affect their morals and character.
The impact of Pakistani dramas:
Pakistani dramas have become so powerful today that the intellectual foundations of the human race are being affected by them. The ideas and ideologies shown in these dramas are being adopted, which is causing social deterioration.
For example, the trend of putting love between husband and wife to the test has become common. Things may seem better temporarily, but over time, quarrels and fights start to arise. Sometimes the family supports the girl unnecessarily and sometimes the husband, which further worsens the relationships.
It should be remembered that the relationships presented in dramas are not real. The personal relationships of these characters are different, and there is no connection of real love and trust between them. These are all just emotional scenes that have nothing to do with lasting love or real relationships.
The importance of religious education:
To avoid these losses, it is very important to create a religious environment in homes so that children can avoid these frivolities and understand the difference between halal and haram, this world and the hereafter, and real honor and disgrace.
Before marriage, children should be taught the principles of living life. They should be taught the lesson of patience and tolerance, and the purposes of marriage should be clearly explained to them.
They should be told that in Islam, marriage is not just the fulfillment of a desire but a great responsibility and trust.
Which is based on the teachings of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:
QALA RASOOLULLAH ﷺ:
AN-NIKAHU MIN SUNNATI, FAMAN RAGHIBA 'AN SUNNATI FA LAYSA MINNI.
Translation:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Marriage is my Sunnah, so whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not from me.
[Sunan Ibn Majah: Number 1846]
May Allah protect us from the trials of dramas and make us accept the truth. Amen.
