What do you know about the life of a stranger in a foreign land?

When a man goes away from his home to a foreign land just to earn a few pennies, only he knows how heavy the world he leaves behind is. You must have seen how his family, friends, and acquaintances bid farewell to someone when he departs from his homeland; every eye is tearful, every heart is heavy.
Whenever I leave home, I have always seen my mother and sisters crying. It is not easy to leave them behind. No one sees how that person works day and night in a foreign land. He cooks his own food, saves money by cutting down on small expenses, and then sends that money home so that his loved ones can be happy and their lives can be easier.
But what is going on in his heart? He constantly remembers his mother, remembers his father's hard work, remembers laughing and playing with his sisters, fighting over small things and then making up; all these memories stay with him. But he suppresses and endures everything in his heart because he knows that all this is his responsibility.
My own two older brothers live abroad. The money they send comes on time, but they themselves can only come home after three, four, or sometimes five years. Their absence is felt every moment. Their sacrifice is great.
If you ever want to know the real importance of money, look at those who earn it through hard work. What do those people know about the value of money, who don't have to earn it? The real value is known only to the one who earns every single rupee by working hard for twelve hours in the sun, rain, heat, and cold.
It is necessary to earn money in the world, because it is impossible to survive without it, otherwise, you have to beg in front of others. But life in a foreign land is not an easy life either; it is like a sweet jail. A person lives, but away from his loved ones, away from his joys.
People often say that daughters are someone else's home, but sons like us are no less strangers. We also have to leave our homes, just so that one day we can build our own home. No one sees how much suffering, how many troubles, and how many worries one has to endure on this journey.
For God's sake, appreciate those who earn for you, feed you, and sacrifice their own happiness for your happiness, whether it is a father, brother, son, or husband; pray for them because they are your real benefactors.
O Allah, Lord of the Worlds, grant everyone in foreign lands ease, lawful sustenance, and the love of their loved ones always. Amen, then Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
