Ramzan-ul-Mubarak is a month of countless blessings and mercies, which dawned upon us just a few days ago. We were still celebrating the joys of Ramzan when, in the blink of an eye, this month passed quickly. We didn't even realize when it was halfway through and when we entered the last ten days. And this blessed month is about to depart from us, and even as it goes, it stands waiting with a pardon for our forgiveness, hoping that someone will seize this opportunity and get their forgiveness. But alas, we Muslims dedicate this last and precious ten days to Eid preparations. We spend the whole month making Iftar special dishes, and when we reach the last hours of Ramzan, we quickly get busy with Eid preparations along with Iftar, while we should be increasing our worship. But after worshiping in the previous days, we start showing laziness in these last days and waste it in Sehri, Iftar, and Eid preparations. Oh, alas! If only we understood, if only we had done the Eid preparations a few days before Ramzan, and we would have spent these last days of the blessed month only in worship, we would have prepared for our afterlife. Who knows who will be there next Ramzan and who won't. Remember that if we find Shab-e-Qadr in these few days and get our forgiveness from Allah, and attain Allah's Paradise, then every day in the afterlife will be like Eid for us. But if we are deprived, then we will just celebrate with new clothes, new shoes, and the joys of Eid, but then we will be deprived of eternal happiness. In this ten days, Allah has given His servants the best opportunity. The reward of worshiping one night is equal to 83 years of worship. Allahu Akbar! No other Ummah has received such glad tidings. The Lord has bestowed this honor only on the Ummah of His beloved. The order to perform Itikaf in the last ten days was given so that there could be more worship, more opportunity to earn good deeds, and we are wasting these precious moments in the markets. For God's sake, improve your afterlife. Today is the twenty-third Shab-e-Qadr, and it is also the night of Friday. Let us leave negligence and laziness and tire ourselves in worship for a while and become entitled to Allah's Paradise. What a great deal it is, sacrificing a few hours of sleep and in return, eternal Paradise, the vision of Allah. Allahu Akbar...

May Allah forgive us all. May Allah include us among those whom Allah is going to forgive on this night.

Astaghfirullah Rabbi Min Kulli Zanmbin Wa Atubu Ilaih
