This world is a strange spectacle of trials; here, sometimes truth is presented in the guise of falsehood, and sometimes sin is wrapped in the fragrance of love and sold in the markets of hearts. Similarly, a day that the people of the West have named Valentine's Day dawns on the horizon of time like a red rose, but in reality, it is not a rose but a flower from the thorny garden of Western civilization, whose fragrance hides deadly poison. This day outwardly comes as a messenger of love, but in its skirt, there is no love but the wandering of lust; on its face, there is no smile but a thick veil of satanic deception. Love is that pure emotion that sits in the hidden chambers of the heart, veiled in modesty; love is that light that shines from the lamp of marriage, but what kind of love is this that is sold in the markets, what kind of affection is this that dies on the threshold of immodesty. Valentine's Day is not actually love; it is a celebration of the empire of the self, it is the splendor of the idol temple of lust, it is that fair where moths of modesty burn and lamps of faith are extinguished. This festival sows such dreams in the hearts of young people that give destruction instead of fulfillment; it creates such a sparkle in their eyes that eventually drips as tears. It is a gift from the West whose outward color hides the darkness of the inner self; it is that instrument whose tune is not happiness but the brokenness of the soul. The people of faith know that the real meaning of love is not just a red rose but the purity of the heart, not just gifts but the protection of chastity. Valentine's Day is, in fact, the title of the defeat of morality in the name of love, the death of modesty, and the destruction of civilization, and the truth is that this day is not of love, it is a day of deception of love, it is not of the rose, it is a day of thorns, it is not of union, it is a day of decline. May Allah protect us from this trial of color and fragrance and keep love in its original place of modesty, chastity, and the light of Sharia, Amen.
