*The Story of the Person Carrying a Lamp in the Daytime*

A person was wandering around the market with a lamp in broad daylight.

Someone, stopping him for this action, said, "What has happened to me that I need a lamp in broad daylight?"

He said, "I am looking for a man everywhere; I cannot find one."

He replied, "This market is full of people, and you say you cannot see a man."

He explained to the questioner, "There is no man in the market; they only have the appearance of men. They are all driven by bread and carnal desires."

He further explained, "The people who appear in this market are all against human qualities and humanity. They are not men; they only appear in the guise of humanity."

To become a man, the qualities of a man are necessary. Then, he explained with an example: "Look! If agarwood, which is a fragrant wood, does not have the fragrance of agarwood, then what is the difference between it and ordinary firewood? Such odorless agarwood should also be called firewood."

Now, coming to the main topic, he said, "Humanity and humanness are not the names of flesh, fat, and skin. Humanity is the name of those qualities, morals, and deeds by which the pleasure of Allah Almighty is obtained."

If humanity were only the name of the human form, then Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Jahl would be the same, although this is not the case at all.

Lesson:
True humanity is not just the name of the body or form, but of good morals, good deeds, and attaining the pleasure of Allah.
