Night and Day Engagements and the Continuity of Serving the Faith
Writings: Mufti Muhammad Tasleemuddin Al-Mahmoodi
Respected Readers!
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. By the grace and blessings of Allah Almighty, a short but beneficial and blessed five-day course in connection with the month of Ramadan has been successfully completed through our online academy. In this course, important topics related to Ramadan were discussed, the knowledge of which is very important for every Muslim.
In these sessions, Ramadan management, rules and regulations of fasting, rules and regulations of Zakat, issues of Tarawih prayers, and the reality, virtues, and value of Shab-e-Qadr and Laylatul Jaiza were discussed in detail. Alhamdulillah, students and participants benefited from it with great attention and interest.
The past few days have been spent in these scholarly and educational engagements day and night. Along with this, the students' annual examinations, academic responsibilities, and other administrative matters also continued. Due to these continuous engagements, I could not find the time for writing and composing that I usually get. Although I intended to do so many times, the continuity of engagements prevailed.
However, the feeling always remained alive in my heart that "Sada-e-Qalam" (Voice of the Pen) is no less than a trust. Whenever a suitable opportunity and platform is available, it is necessary to convey one's thoughts, experiences, and religious message to the people through writing. Serving knowledge is not limited to teaching, but its dissemination and expression are also an important part of it.
We pray to Allah Almighty to accept these humble efforts in His court, grant us beneficial knowledge, grant us the ability to serve the religion with sincerity, and grant us the courage and perseverance to continue this blessed series of reading, writing, and learning and teaching.
Aameen, O Lord of the Worlds.
