Today is the 19th of Shaban, the moon is completing its journey, and the blessed month of Ramadan is knocking on our door. But pause for a moment and look into your own heart, are we ready to welcome this holy month?
By God! Ramadan is not just about pakoras, sherbet, and Iftar meals. It is the month in which Allah's blessings rain down like rain, but remember that an upside-down vessel never fills with rain. If our heart is full of sins, envy, and hatred, we will be deprived of this blessing.
Three essential things for collective reform:
Make peace with your parents: If your parents are angry with you, none of your worship, none of your fasting will be accepted. A father's displeasure is the darkness in which the path to paradise is never found.
Sweep with repentance: Just as we clean our homes before Ramadan, clean your heart through repentance. This last decade of Shaban is the time for "purification of the heart."
Take care of the rights of others: If you have hurt someone's heart or violated someone's rights, ask for forgiveness before Ramadan begins.
My dear readers!
Time is slipping through our fingers like sand. The 19th of Shaban is passing, tomorrow will be Ramadan and then Eid will come. Let it not be that this Ramadan is also sacrificed to our negligence.
If you want this Ramadan to be the last Ramadan of sins in your life, then write 'Astaghfirullah' in the comments and share this message. Your one share can bring a lost person to the mosque.
