Akabir pasandi aur akabir parasti ke darmiyan farq ko malhooz rakhna nihayat zaroori hai. Akabir pasandi yeh hai ke akabir-e-ummat ki azmat, un ki ilmi khidmaat aur un ke minhaj ka aitraaf kiya jaye, magar saath hi yeh tasleem kiya jaye ke woh masoom nahi thay, un se tasamuh, khata aur laghzish ka sadur mumkin hai; chunanchey jahan un ke kisi qaul ya ijtihad mein laghzish ki nishandahi daleel ke saath ho jaye, wahan usay tasamuh samajh kar qubool kar liya jaye. Yehi akabir pasandi hai, aur yehi tarz-e-fikr salaf-e-saliheen se chala aa raha hai ke kisi aalim ke tasamuh par tawajjah dilaye jane ke baad usay tasleem kiya jata tha, nah ke shakhsiyat ko meezan-e-haq bana liya jata tha.
Yehi baat mujhe apne mushfiq o murabbi aur aziz dost Maulvi Rizwan Halimi se baarha samajhne ko mili, jin se mein ne Sharh Aqaid-e-Nasafi, Usool-ul-Shashi, Sharh Wiqaya aur deegar kutub se istifada kiya. Woh aksar nihayat hakeemana andaaz mein yeh naseehat farmate thay ke akabir
se mohabbat karo, magar akabir parast nah bano.
Is ke barkhilaf akabir parasti yeh hai ke akabir ke har qaul ko khata se maawara samajh liya jaye aur daleel ke muqable mein mehaz shakhsiyat ko dhaal bana liya jaye, halanke yeh tarz-e-amal khud akabir ke minhaj aur un ki taleemat ke sarasar khilaf hai.
Tareekh-e-ilm is haqeeqat par shahid hai ke akabir ke tasamuh par ilmi radd, taaqub aur tasheeh hamesha se raaij rahi hai; chunanchey Imam Shafi'i (R.A) ne Imam Malik (R.A) ke baaz masail par radd kiya, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (R.A) ne Imam Shafi'i (R.A) ke baaz ijtihadaat se ikhtilaf kiya, Imam Ishaq bin Rahwayh (R.A) ne Aimma-e-Hadith ke baaz manahij par ilmi guftagu ki, Imam Bukhari (R.A) ne Imam Muslim (R.A) ke minhaj par kalaam kiya, Imam Muslim (R.A) ne baaz ruwaat ke qubool o radd mein mutaqaddimeen se ikhtilaf kiya, Imam Abu Dawood (R.A) aur Imam Tirmizi (R.A) ne Shuyookh-e-Hadith ke baaz faislon par tanbeeh ki, Imam Nasai (R.A) ne mutadid mashhoor ruwaat par jarah qaim ki, Imam Ibn Abi Hatim (R.A) ne apne walid aur deegar mutaqaddimeen ke aqwal par tehqeeq o tarjeeh pesh ki, Imam Daraqutni (R.A) ne Bukhari o Muslim dono par mustaqil kitaab likh dali, Imam Hakim Nishapuri (R.A) ki tasheehat par Imam Zahabi (R.A) ne taaqubaat qaim kiye, Imam Ibn Khuzaima (R.A) aur Imam Ibn Hibban (R.A) ki tasheehat par baad ke muhaddiseen ne kalaam kiya, Imam Abu Yusuf (R.A), Imam Muhammad bin Hasan Shaibani (R.A) aur Imam Zafar (R.A) ne apne ustad Imam Abu Hanifa (R.A) ke aqwal par radd o tarjeeh qaim ki, Imam Tahawi (R.A), Imam Sarakhsi (R.A), Imam Ibn Humam (R.A), Imam Nawawi (R.A), Imam Muzani (R.A), Imam Ibn Abd-al-Barr (R.A), Imam Ghazali (R.A), Imam Aamidi (R.A), Imam Fakhruddin Razi (R.A), Imam Ibn Taimiyyah (R.A) aur Imam Ibn-ul-Qayyim (R.A) ne mufassal ilmi taaqubaat qaim kiye, aur yeh sab kuch sarasar ilmi tha, zaati nahin.
