Religious Values and Current Educational Events

Readers, this is an important and sensitive issue that needs serious consideration. Nowadays, it is commonly seen in schools, colleges, and some madrassas that mature girls, daughters older than 12-13 years, have a program that is prominently displayed in front of the entire audience, or having them sing songs or perform dances is against Sharia. It will bring the wrath of Allah and remove blessings. This is not serving the religion. Girls are made to dance, and everyone watches as spectators, Allah forbid. Sometimes, the madrassa people say that the program was arranged at the request of the girls' parents, so it should be clearly understood that the issue of Sharia cannot be changed at the behest of parents, whether someone likes it or not. At least the officials of religious madrassas should stop these seditious programs. If the madrassas themselves do not act on religion, then what expectation can be had from the public?
Once, I had the opportunity to attend a turban-tying ceremony in Hyderabad with my uncle. Overall, the program was, by the grace of Allah, very excellent and auspicious, and most of its aspects were commendable. However, the show presented by the girls during the program was very unpleasant for us. This was also surprising for us because a prominent religious scholar from Hyderabad was also personally present at the ceremony. Involuntarily, feelings of regret arose in my heart, and I was forced to think about what has happened to our society that we cannot even take care of limits and values in such events. I pray to Allah Almighty to grant correct guidance to the organizers of such programs and to give us the ability to live our lives according to our religious and moral values. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
