Annual Journalism Competition

It is possible that after seeing the title, a question arises in your mind that the last third of Jamadi-us-Sani is going on, other madrassas have the last dates for annual competitions, and your announcement of the annual journalism competition is just coming, your question is valid, there is some negligence in it to some extent, but a big reason was also the gradual delay in the return date of Hazrat Mufti Nasiruddin Mazahari, well, under the principle of "better late than never", I selected two topics and issued an announcement on 16th Jamadi-us-Sani corresponding to 8th December, Monday.

First topic: Love for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is part of faith

Second topic: Mewat's contribution in the Tablighi movement

Some conditions were also set for this journalism competition, which are being quoted here verbatim, please note:

(1) The essay should consist of at least five and at most seven pages of foolscap paper.

(2) The article should have a table of contents at the beginning and a list of sources and references at the end.

(3) Complete observance and adherence to punctuation marks should be observed, and there should be no name or identification mark etc. in the article.

(4) The essay should not be copied verbatim from any book, essay or magazine etc.

(5) The Arabic phrases (Quran, Hadith and saying etc.) appearing in the article should be in Naskh script along with diacritics.

(6) The last date for submitting the article is 5th Rajab-ul-Murajjab 1447 AH, corresponding to 26th December 2025 AD, Friday.

It was also announced under the note that the successful candidates from the top three grades will be specially awarded, while all other participants will be awarded an encouraging prize (participation prize), Insha'Allah Ta'ala. Wa Yansurna Allah

Collection of Annual Articles

As per the rules, the collection of all articles was necessary by 5th Rajab-ul-Murajjab corresponding to Friday, but for the convenience of the students, one more day was given and thus by late night of the next day i.e. 6th Rajab-ul-Murajjab, approximately 13 articles were collected, although two articles were also collected the next day i.e. Sunday morning and thus, Alhamdulillah, the number of these articles under the auspices of Bazm-e-Sahafat Students of Area Mewat reached 15.

Checking of Articles

After the collection of articles, the issue of checking was very important, in my mind the name of Hazrat Mufti Nasiruddin Mazahari Sahib Damat Barakatuhum Al-Aaliya was fixed for checking, but I was also thinking that if Mufti Nasiruddin Mazahari Sahib checks quickly, then I will get it checked by someone else as well, then after adding the numbers of both, the positions will be determined, but here the situation was different, so on Sunday evening, I went to Mufti Nasiruddin Mazahari with the essays, there was greetings and conversation, inquired about well-being, I mentioned about the checking of the articles, so Hazrat took out the essays from the bag, was very happy to see them, but said that "how will I check so many essays? Give me five essays out of these, give some to Mufti Muhammad Rashid Nadvi Mazahari and some to someone else" Hazrat Mufti Nasiruddin Sahib's point was also correct that one, each essay was itself about seven pages long, then separately the table of contents and sources and references etc. were in separate pages and above all, the time was only two to three days, well, I gave five essays to Mufti Nasiruddin Mazahari, greeted him and returned.

Taking the remaining articles, I went to Maulana Mufti Muhammad Rashid Nadvi Mazahari Damat Barakatuhum Al-Aaliya, he already knew about it, but still, based on the recent articles, I gave a brief introduction of Bazm-e-Sahafat Students of Area Mewat, after that I requested Mufti Sahib regarding the checking of the articles, Mufti Sahib apologized and gave a very long speech, the gist of which was that checking exam papers and such competitions is very difficult for me, I am afraid of injustice, also, he inquired about the details related to our upcoming program, was very happy to hear and gave a lot of prayers, besides, he also gave many important and necessary advices in the light of his experiences and observations, also, he suggested the name of Mufti Muhammad Ahkam Sahib for checking the articles, so the next day i.e. 8th Rajab-ul-Murajjab on Monday, I went to Mufti Muhammad Ahkam Sahib, firstly I introduced him to Bazm-e-Sahafat Students of Area Mewat, then referring to the recommendation of Mufti Muhammad Rashid Sahib, I requested for checking the articles, but Mufti Muhammad Ahkam Sahib also apologized citing the excuse of not having time and thus disappointment came from here as well...
