A Brief Account of the Miraj (Ascension) Incident
The brief account of this incident is that a golden tray full of wisdom and faith was brought to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). His (peace be upon him) chest was opened, then it was washed with Zamzam water, and then it was filled with wisdom and faith.

And then a Buraq, a mount faster than the speed of light, was brought, which was a long white quadruped, larger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. It placed its hoof as far as its eye could see.
Riding on it, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was taken to Bait-ul-Muqaddas (Jerusalem), and there all the prophets (peace be upon them) prayed behind the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), meaning the Prophet (peace be upon him) became the Imam and all the prophets prayed behind him.

Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) was taken to the heavens. On the first heaven, he met Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him), on the second heaven, Hazrat Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Yahya (John) (peace be upon him), on the third heaven, Hazrat Yusuf (Joseph) (peace be upon him), on the fourth heaven, Hazrat Idris (Enoch) (peace be upon him), on the fifth heaven, Hazrat Harun (Aaron) (peace be upon him), on the sixth heaven, Hazrat Musa (Moses) (peace be upon him), and on the seventh heaven, he met Hazrat Ibrahim (Abraham) (peace be upon him).

After that, "Al-Bait-ul-Ma'mur" (this is the place of worship for angels directly above the Kaaba) was presented to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), where seventy thousand angels enter daily for the worship of Allah, who do not return to it again.

Then you (peace be upon him) were taken to Sidrat al-Muntaha (the farthest lote tree). You (peace be upon him) saw that its leaves were as big as elephant ears and its fruits were as big as pots.

When Sidrat al-Muntaha was covered by things that covered it by the command of Allah, its condition changed. There is no power in any of Allah's creation to describe its beauty.

Four rivers were seen at the root of Sidrat al-Muntaha: two hidden rivers and two visible rivers. Upon the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) inquiring, Hazrat Jibreel (Gabriel) (peace be upon him) said that the two hidden rivers are the rivers of Paradise and the two visible rivers are the Euphrates and the Nile (the Euphrates is in Iraq and the Nile is in Egypt).

And Allah knows best.
