According to psychologists, the wisdom of silence

Often people think that speaking is the best way to get their point across or express their opinion, but according to psychologists, silence is the greatest wisdom on certain occasions. Here are a few such occasions:

👈🏻1️⃣ When the audience is not attentive

If you are talking and the other person's attention is elsewhere, it is better to remain silent. This maintains your dignity and your words are not wasted.

👈🏻2️⃣ In case of incomplete information

In the event of not having complete knowledge on any subject, remain silent instead of giving a decisive opinion. Otherwise, respect and dignity may be affected if proven wrong.

👈🏻3️⃣ When listening to someone's sorrow

When someone wants help or advice from you, listen to them carefully. Whether you can provide practical help or not, just listening can lighten their sorrow.

👈🏻4️⃣ In the face of deliberate rudeness

If someone deliberately acts rudely to make you angry, don't fall into their trap. Patience and silence increase your dignity and the opponent's plans fail.

👈🏻5️⃣ As soon as the argument turns bitter

When bitterness starts to increase during a debate, it is better to remain silent. This not only improves the environment but also prevents relationships from deteriorating.

Thus, it can be said that sometimes silence is a more powerful weapon than speaking. That silence which becomes a symbol of dignity, wisdom and patience.
