🖋️{Khair Jalees Fi Al-Zaman Kitab}📚
Gul Razarahi Arariavi ✍🏻
The importance and usefulness of studying is known to everyone who has a special interest in reading and writing.
The famous poet and writer Abul Tayyab Ahmad bin Al-Hussein Al-Mutanabbi said in his poem:
A'azzu Makaan Fi Al-Dunya Sarju Sabih
Wa Khairu Jaleesin Fi Al-Zaman Kitab
Translation:
1: The best place in the world for a traveler is the horse's saddle.
2: And the best companion of time is a book.
You know that a poet like Mutanabbi has not appeared in history so far, the poets after him are his gleaners.
A person, no matter what field he belongs to, study makes him perfect. In the world, those gentlemen who have knowledge in religious and worldly sciences and expertise in arts, all those people are fond of and interested in studying, because if one is an expert in art and is not fond of studying, let alone expertise, he will lose even his basic knowledge. In the lesson of Gulistan, my respected teacher Hazrat Maulana Naeem Sahib Qasmi said that wealth decreases by spending, but the philosophy of knowledge is that it increases by giving and using it.
In view of this, those who want height in their knowledge or those who want to maintain their knowledge consider study as an antidote.
People fond of studying are found in every religion. In history, countless such people are found who are non-Muslims but have a daily study routine of five to six hundred pages. Study becomes food for the soul for such people. Study refines mental abilities, increases the breadth of understanding, removes misunderstanding, eliminates the defect of ignorance, illuminates thoughts. If study becomes a disease for someone, then he considers it a good thing to be engaged in such a disease. Study makes a person virtuous, elevates intellectual ability, his position is prominent among people of knowledge and art. The speech, writing, conversation of people who are addicted to study has a different color and approach. Literary sentences, meaningful words and attractive expressions, the depth and profundity of the conversation gives peace and joy to the heart, the heart becomes happy.
People fond of studying can travel the whole world while sitting in one place. Sitting in the present, they are so familiar with the events and happenings of the past as if they have seen it with their own eyes. There are countless such people among our elders and ancestors whose lives are incomplete without study.
History is full of such people who have made study their habit, on the other hand, they are alive and immortal in the pages of books and in the hearts and minds of people with greatness and respect. Reading books and making them the decoration of your home also doubles the beauty of the home. If the shelves and niches of the house are decorated with arranged books, then that house looks like a newlywed bride whose decoration completely removes the condition and state. On the contrary, the house whose niches and shelves are empty of books and countless attractive items of entertainment are decorated, yet it looks deserted and empty, the house in which there is no passion for writing and reading, that house and that family is faced with the ugly stain of ignorance.
An ignorant and unaware person comes in the category of foolish and unwise, they have to face stumbling blocks from door to door, they are deprived of self-confidence, the best decision for themselves.
After all, there must be some reason why the virtues and merits of the people of knowledge have been mentioned in the Quranic verses and blessed hadiths and their status has been elevated and all the prophets have been blessed with Rasookh Fi Al-Ilm, because they are the teachers of humanity and it is necessary for the teacher of humanity to be a teacher of books.
Therefore, people in general and Muslims in particular should develop a passion for reading, writing and studying, remove misunderstandings and awaken their consciousness to protect the country and the nation so that we can defend the world and also defend the religion which is our purpose of life.
May Allah Almighty grant us this good taste, Amen.
