Man has become so engrossed in the love of the world that he has considered bowing before his Creator a trivial matter. But today's Muslim has ignored the importance of prayer. If there is somewhere to go, some worldly work to do, or a meeting with a beloved, a person gets ready immediately. Whether it is three o'clock at night or any time in the morning, the call of the beloved is answered immediately. - The love of the world has distanced man from the love of Allah. When a person gives place to worldly things in his heart, the love of Allah weakens. The transient things of the world become our priority and we forget the commands of our Lord.

- When faith is weak, the heart does not feel like following the commands of Allah. We believe in Allah with our tongue, but the heart does not feel His greatness. It is the weakness of faith that leads us to laziness in prayer.
3. Negligence and Carelessness:
- Man's heart becomes so engrossed in worldly affairs that he does not even bother to make time for prayer. If someone has to wake up early in the morning for important work, he wakes up on time, but when it is time for Fajr prayer, the eyes do not open.
4. Despair and Negative Thinking:
- Some people think, what will happen by praying? They look at those who pray and say that there has been no change in their lives, so what change will come in our lives? This negative thinking has deprived man of the benefits of prayer.
Dangerous Consequences of Laziness in Prayer
Being lazy in prayer is no small matter. It can cause the destruction of our hereafter. Allah Almighty has commanded the observance of prayer in the Holy Quran and has declared its disobedience a serious sin.
Surah Maryam (19:59-60):
_"Then after them came a posterity who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they will meet with perdition."_
These verses warn us that those who abandon prayer or are lazy in it may deserve the wrath of Allah.
Returning to Prayer and Repentance
There is only one way to get out of laziness in prayer, and that is to sincerely repent to Allah Almighty and fill our hearts with His love. This life is a place to act, and the hereafter is a place of reckoning. Whatever we do here, we will have to account for it on the Day of Judgment. There will be no action there, only reckoning.
O people immersed in negligence! When will your eyes open?
This life is a test and prayer is an important part of this test. We have to express our love for Allah Almighty through our actions. Prayer is the path that leads us to Paradise and makes us worthy of Allah's mercy.
