Islam and the state of Muslims in the modern era.

Dear Readers! Allah Almighty created this universe and all creatures. The heavens and the earth and everything in between are all bound by Allah's command, and He knows well which human thoughts and actions are beneficial to humans and which are harmful and detrimental. Therefore, He sends a complete code of life for humans to follow so that they can reach their destination. Allah Almighty's teachings and complete laws are the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and history and experience bear witness to the fact that the Creator of the universe, the True Owner, the Almighty, the Most Merciful, Allah Almighty's teachings, whoever, person or nation, has adhered to them, has been victorious and successful in this world and the hereafter. When the teachings of Allah Almighty are fully implemented and enforced in a society, not only are the lives, property, honor, and dignity of people protected in that society, but such feelings of mutual love, affection, and compassion are created among the members of that society that every individual becomes a brother and a true well-wisher to one another. Instead of being jealous of another's honor and wealth, he rejoices as if it were his own. Similarly, every believing Muslim also attains inner peace and a good and pure life in this temporary world, and the peace, tranquility, and happiness that will be available to him in the eternal and real life are beyond our imagination.
The summary and complete explanation of Allah Almighty's teachings and the Islamic code is present in the Kalima Tayyiba: "There is no god but Allah," meaning no one is worthy of worship, "and Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah" (meaning that the worship of Allah is attained through Muhammad ﷺ). Worship is the name of expressing extreme love and humility before someone and adopting obedience to them with heart and soul. The worship and obedience of Allah Almighty is not only in the field of worship but also in every aspect of life, obeying Him, following His commands, and adopting the ways taught by the Holy Prophet ﷺ is the worship of Allah Almighty. Therefore, regarding eating and drinking, Allah Almighty says: "O you who believe, eat of the good things that We have provided for you, if it is Him that you worship. And give thanks to Allah, if it is Him you worship." (Al-Baqarah - Verse: 172)
The summary of Allah Almighty's command regarding reducing in measurement and fulfilling rights is that those who reduce in measurement, meaning they take their full rights from others but cause loss and deficiency in fulfilling the rights of others, such people do not have faith and certainty in the Day of Judgment. (See Surah Al-Mutaffifin)
Condemning those who ignore Allah Almighty's command in their disputes and quarrels, Allah Almighty says: "Have you not seen those who claim to believe in what has been revealed to you, and what was revealed before you, yet they wish to go for judgment to the Taghut (false judges), though they have been ordered to deny him? But Satan wishes to lead them far astray." (An-Nisa - Verse: 60)
These few verses and narrations from the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet ﷺ have been presented as examples so that it becomes clear to a Muslim that the worship of Allah Almighty is not only the name of adopting worship but also the name of accepting and acting upon every command and teaching of Allah Almighty in all aspects of life with heart and soul. The major branches of worship and Islam are beliefs, worship, dealings, ethics, and rights and etiquette. To protect these rights and contracts, there are Hudud and Tazir punishments, the establishment of a system of justice, and to spread and enforce the entire system of peace and tranquility, which helps the poor and oppressed, throughout the world, there is Amr bil Ma'roof wa Nahi anil Munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil) and Dawah and Jihad.
If the individual and collective state of Muslims is carefully examined today, it becomes clear that the society that is formed because of faith and Islam, the society of Muslims is completely opposite to it. An ordinary Muslim is disgusted not by a Muslim but by a religious Muslim. The trust of a Muslim in a Muslim has been lost. Despite being in the billions, Muslims are living a life of humiliation and disgrace, and despite having a numerical majority, they are defeated and oppressed everywhere. In no Muslim country is there complete supremacy and rule of Islamic laws, although apparently the Muslim Ummah has not abandoned Islam, but the Kalima Shahadat echoes in the air five times a day. There is no space for worshippers in mosques. The plain of Arafat, several miles wide, cannot accommodate the pilgrims during the days of Hajj. The same is true of other acts of worship. Moreover, Dawah and Tabligh, sermons and exhortations, religious schools, and Khanqahs are so numerous that perhaps there is no precedent for them in previous eras. But despite this, Muslims are going deeper and deeper into the abyss of decline instead of progress, and society is moving towards cruelty instead of compassion and is a victim of division, disunity, and humiliation.
Islam is not just the name of beliefs and worship
This may bother you, but I hope that if its signs and evidence are brought forward, it will become clear that indeed not the common Muslim but even the religious class is a victim of this disease. They consider Islam limited only to beliefs and worship. If Muslims establish beliefs and worship as they should, then guidance would still be found towards the remaining branches, but they have presented the system of beliefs and worship in such a way that it seems as if there is no concept of dealings and social life in Islam at all. However, they only teach and learn the issues of marriage and divorce from among the dealings. All other dealings, social life, rights, ethics, the system of justice and punishment have become hidden from their eyes. This is the reason why they are deprived of the pure worship of Allah Almighty. Therefore, great religious and pious Tahajjud-observing teachers, students, and preachers engage in usurious transactions and are corrupt in dealings and have made alliances with infidel systems. Despite this, in the eyes of the common people, there is no blemish on their Islam or even their piety. Apparently, we see that if, Allah forbid, someone in a religious society abandons prayer, he will be considered a transgressor and a sinner in that society and environment, and undoubtedly such a person is a transgressor, a sinner, and worthy of blame because he has brought down a pillar of religion. But the one who has brought down the entire religion of Islam, does not care about what is lawful and unlawful in his dealings, has made lying and breaking promises his habit, does not try to avoid vile morals, and his tongue remains moist in praising and glorifying irreligious rulers by carrying their flags. Why is he considered pious only because he prays, practices Sufism, or only talks about religion? On the contrary, a person who is honest in dealings, takes full care in fulfilling rights, and similarly fulfills other religious duties and responsibilities well, but he is not accustomed to frequent voluntary prayers, his dress and appearance are not in a particular style, so his name is excluded from the list of pious people. And on the contrary, the one who wastes the rights of people, if he is only accustomed to frequent voluntary prayers and keeps talking about religion in front of people, then even those who abandon obligatory duties and obligations are considered saints, elders of religion, and pious in our society. Are all these not signs and evidence that the importance of important matters such as dealings, rights, ethics, etc., has been removed from the heart of the Muslim, and he has limited Islam only to beliefs and worship, even to the extent of the minor issues he has chosen?
If the current state of Muslims is carefully examined, it has to be admitted that the spirit of Tawhid and the pure worship of Allah Almighty has left the Muslim. Many types of Shirk that are found in disbelievers, polytheists, and hypocrites are also found in Muslims today, although many Muslims forbid the worship of graves, but they are also involved in the worship of other living lords, gods, and Taghuti powers besides Allah Almighty. Whereas it was the Taghut worship of the Jews that they used to follow such leaders who used to make people follow their desires in comparison to the teachings and guidance of Allah Almighty, and it was the Taghut worship of the hypocrites that they used to take some of their matters to the courts of Jews and Christians. Today's Muslim has surpassed the polytheists, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites in Taghut worship, self-worship, and nationalism. The Taghuti forces have dominated every aspect of Muslims' dealings, society, civilization, politics, and economy. Rather, the system of government of Muslim countries has also become Taghut, and Muslims are not only being used within it, but they are also engaged in striving to develop and promote this Taghuti civilization, culture, politics, and economy. Today, Muslims adopt decisions according to the law made by Taghut instead of the law revealed by Allah Almighty and are spending all their strength and abilities in promoting and spreading this Taghuti and satanic civilization and politics, etc. Not only this, but the rulers of Muslims are openly mocking the Book of Allah and the divine law and saying that, Allah forbid, the commands of Sharia are outdated, impractical, and against reason and civilization. Then, not only the common people but also the political so-called scholars are deceiving the people by establishing relationships of love and affection with them and supporting them and giving the name of Western democracy to Islamic politics. In any case, in all matters of life other than worship, today's Muslim has either made his own self a god or those people who have impressed him with their material power and strength. Rather, the majority of intelligent Muslims have become such that even knowing everything, they are afflicted with the disease of self-interest, and wherever any divine command clashes with their interest, the path of worship of Allah Almighty is broken there. Whereas the Holy Quran has declared the self-interest of the hypocrites as Shirk and said: "And among the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If good befalls him, he is satisfied therewith; and if a trial strikes him, he turns on his face. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss." (Al-Hajj - Verse: 11)
The state of most Muslims today is that they have not completely surrendered themselves to the teachings and guidance of Allah Almighty and His Messenger, but they are Muslims to the extent that they do not see any harm in following Islam, but wherever they see any worldly interest of theirs being harmed or have to face the trials of life, they turn away from Islamic laws and guidance from there, and this is hypocrisy. Remember that disbelief never fears hypocrisy, and the nation that adopts a hypocritical attitude towards the religion of Islam and adopts some of the religion and abandons some of it, experience has shown that that nation is afflicted with a humiliating punishment in this world and the hereafter.
The cure for the current humiliation and decline of Muslims.
There is no doubt that some of our scholars and compassionate people have explained and are explaining the entire Islam by presenting it before humanity, but the forces hostile to Islam are trying to erase Islam with as much planning as they are, and also the movements that are running in the name of Islam are limiting Islam to a few branches with their actions and statements, so in the presence of all these opposing efforts, these few voices are insufficient for this work. Therefore, the most important requirement and duty of the time is that such a righteous and reforming group should stand up which, by creating a correct awareness of Tawhid among Muslims, tells people the real meaning of worship and servitude, and this group should give verbal and practical testimony and witness of the Tawhid of God not only with words and pen but also with their actions. They themselves should be colored in the color of the worship of Allah Almighty and stand up to color others in the color of Allah Almighty and break all the bonds of nation, homeland, and race and family. Also, there should not be even the slightest desire for the political superiority, numerical majority, and economic superiority of any particular nation hidden in any corner of their hearts and minds. Its enmity should not be with any one falsehood in the world but with every falsehood and corruption in the world, and its only task should be to bring the entire Islam before the people of the world with its actions and statements, so that the entire humanity, by coming out of this oppressive and cruel grip, may enter into the peaceful, compassionate, tranquil, and pure system of life of Islam and be successful and prosperous in this world and the hereafter. May Allah Almighty give us all the taste of walking on the entire religion of Islam and keep us steadfast on the entire Islam so that we may depart from this world in such a state that He is pleased and satisfied with us and we are pleased and satisfied with Him. Amen, then Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
