مobile: A Silent Killer

✍🏻 Gul Raza Rahi Arariavi

Among the things that have destroyed our society, an important role is played by the misuse of multimedia mobile phones. This destruction has spread like a virus from house to house.

The disease of mobile phones is gaining momentum in the new generation. Society and community are taking a new turn. Old traditions and simplicity seem to be dying out.
Mutual tolerance, love and affection, respect and reverence, obedience, listening and obeying, and the ability to endure have become rare and extinct.

The use of the internet is developing to such an extent that net and recharge are becoming more expensive every year. No home is safe from this epidemic. Some homes are those where the epidemic is visible in the hands of all individuals. Children are particularly affected by this. Those innocent children who have not even learned to stand properly are also involved in it, and are spoiling their innocent minds with nonsense. I know of many homes where, because of this mobile phone, children ignore the words of their elders, and our elders overlook it in a compassionate tone, saying that this is just a child, whereas in the future it can become a challenge.

Film dramas and the acting of actors are always remembered by our children. They are well aware of their names and biographies, but at the same time, they are ignorant and unaware of the names of the heroes and leaders of Islam and the biographies of sacred personalities.

I went to a house in Ramadan where I saw newborn babies. I asked their names and they told me names that were the names of the sons of famous actors, which have no meaning in the dictionary. Similarly, there was another child's name. I asked them who had given this name and they said that their father had given it. I asked them to change it, but their father was not ready. This is the state of the Muslim Ummah. This is why our society is suffering from educational and training decline, is addicted to waywardness, and religious awareness has become insignificant.

The wave of apostasy, selling faith in exchange for friendship with non-Muslims, has become a central headline in the newspaper. Friendship between men and women, and illicit and improper relationships between boys and girls, are increasing greatly. Distance from education is increasing. Our children are far away from success. The bitterness and agitation in temperament, and the drama that unfolds when desired items are not available, are not hidden from any of us. These are things that you and I are observing in our homes.

Mobile is an excellent weapon of the Crusader and Zionist conspiracies of the enemies of Islam, which has put the Muslim Ummah in such a ditch where their faith is being polluted by stinking mud. Weaknesses such as cowardice and miserliness are restricting the Ummah. Due to bad eyesight, adultery, abuse, and immoral acts against women are occurring frequently. All this is a dangerous attack on our faith. Many of our young brothers and sisters are spending most of the night watching mobile phones and talking to non-Mahrams.

While mobile has brought distant people closer, it has distanced those who are near.
Due to which spiritual powers are being lost and physical strength is also now suffering from backwardness.

There is benefit in mobile, there is no denying it, but it is in the category of "wa ithmuhuma akbar min naf'ihima" (their sin is greater than their benefit). Therefore, it is a request to all members of the Muslim Ummah not to give this weapon to their new generation and young children, even if they insist a lot, but do not fulfill this insistence. Avoid using it unnecessarily yourself, otherwise the results will be negative.

May Allah guide us, and make us protectors and guardians of religion and Islam. Amen
