*In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful*
*Don't forget Palestine in the New Year's celebration*
The new year comes, there are fireworks, messages of congratulations circulate, slogans of happiness are raised, but at the very same moment, gunpowder is raining down on the sky of Palestine, the screams of innocent children are piercing the air, and the Muslim world is drowned in a sleep of negligence.
This Muslim was never as insensitive as he is today,
Never as cowardly as he is today,
Never as extravagant and selfish as he is today.
Turn the pages of history, somewhere, somehow, the *Muslim* has lost his way.
Today, we cannot see the anguish of innocent children
Nor do the shawls being snatched from the heads of women disturb us.
Although these are the same innocent children whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to seat in his lap, whose cheeks he would stroke with affection.
Today, the cries of these same children in Palestine must be tearing at the heart of my Prophet (peace be upon him).
And the woman for whose honor the tribe of Banu Qaynuqa was besieged when her head covering was snatched
Today, the daughters of that same woman are being unveiled in Palestine
But the Ummah is silent.
Alas, what a pity
*The Ummah is no longer an Ummah*
Where are those young men who can pray like Abdullah (RA) that
O Allah, may my body be torn to pieces in Your path,
And when You ask, "Abdullah, what happened?"
Then I will say, "Lord, I was cut for the sake of Your religion."
Where are those mothers who, like Umm-e-Ammara (RA), can say after seeing the pieces of their son's body,
*It was for this day that you drank milk*
Where are those children who, like Hazrat Basheer (RA), would bid farewell to their father for martyrdom?
Today, when we look around, our eyes return tired
No one like that is to be seen
Rather, on the contrary, there is a completely different scene
There are young men, but with uncontrolled desires,
With shameless youth,
Drowned in the love of life and wealth.
There are girls, there are women,
But they have given their hearts to the disbelievers,
The tears that were supposed to fall on the prayer mat,
Are flowing in forbidden love,
They are coming out when the lover leaves.
I say
The sisters of our Ummah have become barren (sorry)
Not because they cannot bear children,
But because now from their wombs
Neither a Salahuddin emerges
Nor a Muhammad bin Qasim
Nor an Umar bin Khattab
Nor lions of God like Ali and Hamza
Nor a Saifullah like Khalid bin Walid, may Allah be pleased with them all
Today's Muslim mother is unable to give such offspring
That is why I say
The daughters of the Ummah have become barren.
Don't forget Palestine in the New Year's celebration
Because the Ummah that forgets its wounded body
Does not live
It only breathes
My brothers, the increasing oppression in the world is asking us, are we an Ummah or just a crowd?
*May Allah grant us repentance for this insensitivity before death*
