تذکرہ Iftikhar Ul Auliya ❤️

✍🏻Gul Raza Rahi Arariawi

From the very beginning, the series of human generations has been ongoing, through which the Lord of the Universe manifests His power. He proves His Lordship and creativity by creating and inventing various creations, and He proves His power of annihilation by giving them death.

There are countless creatures in this world, the extent of which is beyond human comprehension. All have separate wisdoms, different natures, and distinct colors and races.
Among these creatures is also mankind, whom the Lord of the Worlds has declared as the noblest of creatures.
Allah Pak sends humans into the colors of this world for testing, so that He may see who lives their life in accordance with the purpose of their Lord, and who forgets Him and lives their borrowed life according to their desires and whims, thus becoming deserving of a bad end.
Among them are some believers and some non-believers. The believer is the one who considers obedience to Allah as the ultimate goal and the success and prosperity of the Hereafter as the achievement of life.
Even among them, there are some who fall prey to negligence.

Some believers are close to Allah, who spend their borrowed life in accordance with Allah's commands and propagate and spread His religion. Such people, due to their unparalleled service to the religion, remain alive in the hearts of people even after passing away from this world.
Among them is a renowned personality, Pir-e-Tariqat (spiritual guide), reformer and mentor, commentator of the Quran, Iftikhar Ul Auliya Hazrat Ji Maulana Mufti Iftikharul Hasan Sahib Kandhalvi Noorullah Marqaduhu. His personality is not in need of introduction. He is popular among the general and the elite throughout the world due to his multifaceted service. His followers, associates, and disciples are spread across the length and breadth of the world. He was a distinguished and insightful commentator and Muhaddith (scholar of Hadith) of his time. Hazrat Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Mian Nadwi (RA) and Hazrat Maulana Manzoor Nomani (RA) were among his contemporaries and companions. He has multifaceted services, which will be discussed under a separate heading in this article.
The arrival and departure of the elders of Darul Uloom Deoband, Mazahir Uloom Saharanpur, and other great scholars continued at Hazrat Wala's place.

Birth:-

Hazrat Wala opened his eyes to life on 10/1/1922 in the scholarly family of Mufti Ilahi Bakhsh Noorullah Marqaduhu, and received training in the cradle of elders in a scholarly and spiritual environment.

Education and Training: -

He received his initial education from Hafiz Rahim Bakhsh in the Jama Masjid of Kandhla. After completing the memorization of the Quran, he recited the entire Quran in one sitting without any mistakes.

After that, he went to Madrasa Kashif-ul-Uloom Nizamuddin for intermediate education, but due to the incompatibility of the climate, he returned and completed the rest of his education at Madrasa Muradia Muzaffarnagar.
From there, he turned to Madrasa Mazahir Uloom for higher education, and benefited from the eminent scholars of knowledge and art of his time, among whom the prominent names are Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakaria Kandhalvi (RA) and Hazrat Maulana Shah Asadullah Sahib. Hazrat (RA) used to narrate the events of his student life as if it were today's event. Hazrat Wala graduated in 1948.

Tasawwuf and Spiritualism:-

Hazrat Wala was initially a disciple of the founder of Tabligh, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Sahib (RA), who was his brother-in-law and brother, and used to stay with him during his travels. Then, after the death of Hazrat Bani Tabligh, he became a disciple of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdul Qadir Rai Puri on the instructions of Hazrat Sheikh, and Hazrat Rai Puri, considering his life and circumstances, titled him "Sufi" and affectionately called him "Sufi Iftikhar".

Hazrat Rai Puri, trusting his abilities and righteousness, awarded him permission and Khilafat (spiritual succession) even before graduation, in 1947.

Services:-

After graduation, he made his native land his residence and from there he became committed to serving the people, and irrigated the entire region with his knowledge.
It was rare that a Friday would pass when he would stay at home and read. Most of the time, Hazrat's routine was to give the date of Friday at the request of the people so that people could benefit more from Hazrat. He was not in the habit of going to public gatherings. Hazrat used to hold his individual meetings and choose Friday for it so that the general public could benefit as much as possible. He had such a passion for preaching the religion that I will mention an incident. Once Hazrat Wala went to Isara, people insisted that he have breakfast first, but Hazrat strictly forbade it, saying that the speech would be first and then something else. Later, he said to his fellow traveler that I do not eat before the speech because the scholars have written that when a person eats or drinks something from someone, he hesitates to speak the truth. That is why I do not accept anyone's invitation before the speech. First, I have to put my point, then after that, whoever wants to feed, feed, whoever wants to drink, drink. Whoever likes it, likes it, whoever dislikes it, dislikes it.
Hazrat had a very prominent quality of enjoining good and forbidding evil. If anyone committed anything against the Sharia and Sunnah, Hazrat would openly rebuke them without any discrimination and express displeasure and anger.

Once, emergency was imposed in India and the decision of sterilization was taken. No one had the courage to give a statement. At that time, this Mujahid (fighter) of Kandhla was the one who openly gave a statement against the government and against the sterilization law. Hazrat had such a passion and concern for following the Sunnah that it was very rare and unique.
Hazrat was known among the general public as an Aamil (spiritual healer). People used to come to Hazrat in the morning to get amulets, so Hazrat would stop everyone, then deliver an effective and meaningful speech for half an hour, give sermons and advice, and then dismiss everyone with amulets, saying that I give amulets for satisfaction, nothing will happen from it until you yourself act upon it, it will happen from what I say (observance of fasting and prayer and revival of Sunnah). This was Hazrat's daily routine. After the prayer, he would frequently advise to seek forgiveness.

Hazrat's journey was generally for preaching the religion and spreading the religion. In his later life, he was dominated by the fact that the system of Khanqah and Sufism has become weak, although Zikr (remembrance of Allah) and Khanqah have their own special benefits. Then Hazrat established more than forty Khanqahs in different provinces of the country, where the Majlis of Zikr Allah is held every month and the work of purification of hearts is done, which Hazrat started from Panipat. Madrasa Gumbdan was a very important Madrasa, which had the status of a center before the partition of India, and Hazrat Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Mian Nadwi, Hazrat Qari Siddiq Bandwi, and these people benefited from it, and they used to quote this saying of Hazrat Rai Puri (RA) again and again that Hazrat said that if any servant of Allah falls in Haryana and Punjab even today, I hope from Allah that it will be re-populated as before.
Hazrat's respected grandson (Mufti Abul Hasan Arshad Damat Barakatuhum) says!
That we have seen with our own eyes that once a year, Hazrat used to travel with his followers, in which he would go to Panipat, where he would visit the shrines of elders, then he would go to Thanesar, then he would visit all the shrines of the elders of the religion in Haryana and Punjab. In this journey, many such people would meet, who had gone towards apostasy at the time of the partition of India. Now, seeing this caravan of Muslims, the zeal of Islam would awaken in their hearts, and they would be honored to embrace Islam again at the hands of Hazrat.

Hazrat established a Madrasa in Haryana and Panipat, at some distance from it, he established a Madrasa on the ninety road, then inside it, where there are revelations of the Prophets (peace be upon them), Hazrat Mujaddid Alf Thani Hazrat Thanvi, thirteen prophets are buried there,
Hazrat used to go to that place and pay his respects.

Hazrat's preaching trips and efforts to spread the religion were constant. Whoever came to Hazrat, Hazrat would advise them to follow the complete religion and the Sunnah.
Hazrat did not write any book regularly. The series of Hazrat's statements, unfortunately, no one recorded it in that era,
Hazrat gave Tafsir (commentary of Quran) for fifty-two years, it was such a valuable treasure of Tafsir that once Hazrat Rai Puri asked Hazrat what he was looking at these days? So Hazrat told the names of fourteen books of Tafsir,
Then Hazrat Rai Puri (RA) said that now your duty is to work on Qadianism, so Hazrat started working on it by putting the words of his Sheikh into practice. Once, an atmosphere was created in Kandhla that people started going to "Rabwa" (headquarters of Qadianis), they were called by saying that there is a religious gathering, special people of a special community here kept roaming as their representatives and gathered a good number of people, and buses started going full, so Hazrat Wala became worried and Hazrat made an emergency tour of the entire area and appointed their preachers and told people that these people are Qadianis, either they should repent and embrace Islam or they should be completely boycotted, so some of them became Muslims due to family and social pressure and some are still attached to Qadianism, but people came to know from this emergency tour of Hazrat that Qadianism is also something that tries to loot faith.
Well, Hazrat Wala's sermons were collected with the help of tape recorders and given a book form, from which the Ummah will continue to benefit, Insha Allah!

It is famous about Hazrat Wala's Sufism that he was the last elder of this status among the Mashaikh of his order. Hazrat was the center of attention of the people. There was no scholar among the great scholars who did not visit Hazrat. After his death, everyone, both general and elite, said that Hazrat Wala was the remedy for every problem.

The scope of Hazrat Wala's services is very wide. There is no field in which Hazrat Wala has not worked. There is a significant share of Hazrat's service in everything, whether it is the network of schools and Maktabs or the promotion of mosques, or the pursuit of misguided and false sects, no corner is empty,
Hazrat's death is a tragedy for the entire Ummah.

For thousands of years, the narcissus weeps over its dimness
It is very difficult to find a visionary in the garden

May Allah Almighty forgive Hazrat, grant him a place in the highest ranks, and shower him with mercy. Amen
