That One Sin That Devours All Your Worship!

Writing:

We all offer prayers, fast, give charity, and believe that our place in Paradise is secured. But do you know that there is a disease that silently burns the pile of good deeds in your record like fire burns dry wood?

That sin is "arrogance and violation of the rights of people."

A companion (RA) asked: "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! A certain woman fasts all day and prays voluntary prayers all night, but she harms her neighbors with her tongue." The Prophet ﷺ said: "She is destined for Hell." Think! There are marks of prostration on the forehead, but there is malice in the heart for someone; there is a rosary on the tongue, but no one's honor is safe from the hand; then those prostrations are thrown back in the face by the Lord. We try to please God, but we break the hearts of God's servants and think that we have become very pious.

Lesson:

Stop taking pride in your good deeds, because it is possible that your one smile brought to the face of a helpless person may be more pleasing to the Lord than all your prayers in life.

Poems:

The pride of worship has disgraced us "Masood"

Otherwise, that prostration was one that would have mixed us with the dust.

Do not hurt anyone's heart, for it is the place of the Lord.

This act is a greater sin than destroying the Kaaba.
