In the present era, the issue of inheritance has taken a very serious form.
In most families, the rules of inheritance are being ignored.
The love of wealth and property has blinded people.
For a few yards of land or some rupees, man forgets the command of Allah.
Whereas inheritance is directly related to the Holy Quran.
In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty Himself has prescribed the shares of inheritance.
To decrease or increase these shares is a grave sin.
The distribution of inheritance is not left to the discretion of man.
This is the command of Allah and His decision.
Whoever changes it denies the command of Allah.
Today, the greatest injustice is being done to sisters.
They are deprived by saying that your right is waived.
Sometimes dowry is used as an excuse.
Sometimes they are suppressed in the name of honor and shame.
Whereas there is no such thing in Sharia.
A woman's right in inheritance is prescribed by Allah.
No brother, father, or family can abolish it.
Whoever deprives a woman of her right is an oppressor.
And there is a severe warning in the Quran for the oppressor.
Such wealth does not remain lawful but becomes unlawful.
Deficiency in inheritance is not only a financial injustice but also a spiritual loss.
Prayers are not accepted because of it.
There is a lack of blessing in sustenance.
Peace disappears from homes.
Children become disobedient.
It has often been seen that inheritance disputes have broken up families.
Brothers do not talk to each other.
Uncles become enemies of nephews.
Trips to the courts are made.
Cases go on for years.
All this happens because Sharia is ignored.
If it is divided according to the command of Allah in the beginning,
Then there will be no quarrel and no enmity.
Islam teaches us justice and fairness.
The system of inheritance is the best example of this justice.
Some people say that they will distribute it later.
Some say that the conditions are not right yet.
But death comes suddenly.
Then the inheritance gets spoiled.
And the sin also comes in the record of deeds of the deceased.
Therefore, it is necessary to prepare in life itself.
Inheritance issues should be learned.
Guidance should be obtained from scholars.
Clear writing and accounting should be maintained.
So that no one's right is violated later.
Parents also have a great responsibility.
They should explain the importance of inheritance to their children.
They should create justice and fear of God in them.
Just accumulating wealth is not success.
Rather, distributing it in a lawful manner is the real success.
Remember!
The wealth of the world is to remain here.
Only deeds will go with you in the grave.
If there is injustice in inheritance then
This injustice will become a punishment in the grave and in the hereafter.
Therefore, we should
Completely avoid deficiency in inheritance.
Give every heir their full right.
Be pleased with Allah's decision.
And remember the accountability of the hereafter.
May Allah Almighty grant us
Justice, fairness, and piety in the matter of inheritance.
And grant us the ability to fulfill the rights of others.
Ameen, O Lord of the worlds.
