For God's sake, forgive Javed Akhtar

The debate between Mufti Shumail Sahib Nadwi and Javed Akhtar introduced us to many people whose writings and poems made us very sad. Although Javed Akhtar Sahib is an atheist, a denier of God, he is also a human being. He is also respected in the hearts of people for the songs, ghazals, and stories he has written. He has written many film stories. He is a famous and well-known person in the world of film and poetry.

Allah Almighty gave him honor, fame, wealth, and children, even though he denied the same God. He was given respect by his art and his knowledge, but after the debate, we saw many of our monotheists write writings that are completely contrary to the teachings of our religion, and humanity does not allow it either.

After the debate, he is constantly facing ridicule and mockery from some of our believers. This is very sad.

Doesn't this hurt him and his family? If someone is wrong and his belief is wrong, should he be humiliated and disgraced? No, not at all. This is against the teachings of Islam. Rather, it is against the demands of humanity, let alone the teachings of Islam. Some people have made up absurd poems. Here are a few verses of a gentleman: He turned out to be more inferior than I thought That Akhtar turned out to be disgraced in the bazaar Atheists considered him their Alexander This unfortunate turned out to be a beet in reality Someone used to say that he is the measure of thought When time tested, he turned out to be less in measurement He left the assembly with his tail between his legs It seemed as if a monkey had gotten up and left

How much contempt is in these verses? Does it befit us to humiliate someone in this way? We humiliate someone because of the corruption of his beliefs.

Didn't Islam spread through our morals? Islam teaches us good morals.

Once, a Bedouin pulled the sheet so hard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)'s neck that his blessed neck turned red. He was about to fall headfirst, but he kept smiling. He had to go through so much suffering in the life of Mecca, but after the conquest of Mecca, he did not take revenge on anyone. He did not even curse or taunt anyone for causing pain, let alone take revenge on anyone, but he forgave everyone. These were the morals that made even enemies friends and forced them to say La Ilaha Illallah. Once, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) brought Thumama bin Uthal as a prisoner and tied him to a pillar of Masjid Nabawi. He remained tied to the same pillar for three days. Finally, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered them to release him. The Companions released him. The next day, he washed himself and came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Teach me the Kalima" and entered Islam by saying La Ilaha Illallah and said, "O Muhammad, I hated you the most on the face of the earth, but now I love you more than all the people on the face of the earth." These were the morals of our Prophet, this was the character of our Prophet. Now we have created such a storm of obscenity in the name of Javed Akhtar that God forbid.

The one who gives guidance is Allah, but can Javed Akhtar Sahib come to the right path because of our morals? Can he accept faith because of these achievements of ours? Even if the thought comes to his mind, our morals can become a means of his destruction, but whether they become a means of guidance, Allah knows best. Javed Sahib was taunted that he could not understand Mufti Sahib's English, and many taunts, sentences, and jokes were made on this. Every art has its own terminology, which only the expert of that art can understand. Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, Usool Hadith, Usool Tafsir, Usool Fiqh, eloquence and rhetoric, Ilm-ul-Kalam have their own terminologies, which only the scholar of that art can understand. Javed Sahib is an expert in Urdu literature and the art of poetry. If he had spoken his poetry terminology in front of Mufti Sahib, would Mufti Sahib have understood? Maybe he wouldn't have understood. It is Javed Sahib's greatness that he unhesitatingly found out what he did not know. Someone else would have felt ashamed to do so live.

Consider Javed Sahib's age, he is 80 years old, his hands are trembling, people have also interpreted it as fear that he was trembling in front of Mufti Sahib. Fear God and do not say such things that hurt someone's heart and pray for Javed Sahib that Allah Almighty grant him guidance. Amen.
