Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya RA often used to say a sentence that "The washerman's son turned out to be better than us!"
One day the disciples asked _ Hazrat, what is the story of this washerman's son?
Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya RA said _ Clothes from a king's palace used to be taken by a washerman and his wife for washing and then returned after washing. They also had a young son who helped his parents in washing clothes.
Clothes from the palace also included the princess's clothes. While washing clothes, he fell in unseen love with the princess. Whenever clothes came from the palace for washing, he would separate the princess's clothes and wash them very well and then fold them in a special way.
The washerwoman suspected the change in the son
And sensing the coming difficulties, she whispered in the washerman's ear.
The washerman forbade the son from washing clothes
Now, as long as the clothes kept coming, the boy's fever of love kept subsiding. As soon as the washing of clothes was banned, he started falling ill
And one day he passed away from this mortal world.
Both parents suppressed their grief and did not mention it to anyone.
Here, when the style of folding the clothes changed, the princess noticed and
She summoned the washerwoman.
When the washerwoman came, the princess asked, who washes my clothes?
The washerwoman said, Princess Alia, I wash them myself
The princess asked? Who used to wash them before?
The washerwoman said, I used to wash them before too.
The princess asked with a glare, tell the truth or the whole family will be punished.
Now the washerwoman could not bear it anymore, her heart was also filled with sorrow, she started crying loudly and told the princess everything.
Hearing this, the princess was shocked and immediately ordered to prepare a carriage and a flower.
Taking a basket of flowers, she offered all the flowers on the grave of the deceased and this remained her routine for the rest of her life, she would definitely go to offer flowers on his grave every year on his death anniversary.
Hazrat Nizamuddin RA further says that the washerman's son turned out to be better than us because his love was accepted. We do not know what the decision of our love will be in the court of Allah. We offer prayers but in a hurry
We pretend. When the princess can recognize love from the folding of clothes, then does Allah not know our true prayers and pretentious prayers?
May Allah grant us the ability to perform his commands in the right and true way.
Amen
