A sin that rapidly pulls young people into a world of destruction: Masturbation

My dear young man! This sin does not stand in any street corner with a sign of disgrace, but quietly enters a person's room, draws the curtains, the conscience

is numbed, and then slowly hollows out a lively young man from the inside. Masturbation is a slip that seemingly happens in solitude, but its effects spread throughout life. Laziness in worship, weakness in resolve, shamelessness in gaze, and a constant restlessness in the heart...
Islam does not make man a creature devoid of desires, but teaches how to keep desire within limits. How clear and purposeful is the style of the Quran that
> And those who guard their private parts except from their wives... then whoever seeks beyond that - those are the transgressors.
This verse is a complete intellectual map. We acknowledge that there is desire, but its path is defined. And whoever seeks pleasure away from this path may find temporary peace, but makes a deal for permanent loss. That is why the majority of jurists have declared masturbation unlawful or at least severely disliked because it is not the satisfaction of the self but the slavery of the self...
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the youth a straight and clear prescription that
> O youth! Whoever among you can afford marriage, let him marry, and whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for fasting diminishes sexual desire (Bukhari, Muslim)
Note here that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never said to let desire run wild or to take it out through the wrong path, but either through a lawful means or through the training of the self. Masturbation is actually the name of deviation from this Prophetic methodology...
This sin is first born from the gaze. Forbidden sight, obscene scenes, pictures shining on the mobile screen, all these ignite a fire in the heart, and then man himself begins to burn in that fire. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that
The gaze is a poisonous arrow from the arrows of Satan (Hakim). When the gaze becomes uncontrolled, the thought becomes wandering, and when the thought becomes wandering, the slip of action is inevitable...
The most dangerous aspect of this sin is that it becomes a habit. And when a habit is of sin, then man cannot easily get out of it even if he wants to. The feeling of guilt burdens the heart, repeated slips break self-confidence, and gradually the young man finds himself trapped in a circle where he is neither fully of the world nor of religion.
But, and this but is very hopeful, Islam is not a religion of despair. No matter how old the sin is, the door to return is open. The Lord of the Universe says in His word, "Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah..."
Young people! If you really want to avoid this sin, then there are ways
Protect the gaze, this is the first and strongest wall...
Populate solitude with the remembrance of Allah because empty solitude is Satan's favorite field...
Sever ties ruthlessly with obscene material, a soft approach does not work here...
Adopt physical exertion and a busy life. A sluggish body creates a weak will...
Make fasting a routine, it teaches self-discipline...
And above all, sincere repentance, begging repeatedly before Allah...
Remember!
This battle is between you and your self. And the young man who subdues his self is actually the victor. If a few moments of pleasure steal your prayer, your honor, the purity of your eyes, and the peace of your soul, then this is not pleasure but loss, utter loss...
Do not waste your strength, do not bury your youth under the burden of shame, and do not break the relationship with your Lord that was meant to take you to heights, not to the ground...
