A mother's selfless love and her great sacrifices.

Respected readers, mother is not just a word but a feeling. Whenever the word mother comes to the tongue, a different kind of peace is attained. Whenever I put my head in my mother's lap, my heart says, "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?" Parents are those beings whose love is selfless, sacrifice is unparalleled, and prayers are unconditional. Peace lies in their embrace, paradise at their feet, and success in life is hidden in their prayers. The one who appreciates them is fortunate, and the one who causes them grief is unfortunate. Parents are such a blessing from Allah that there is no substitute for them in the world. Fortunate are those whose parents are alive and who are pleasing them by obeying them and providing them with comfort and ease, and are obtaining the approval of Allah Almighty and making themselves worthy of Paradise. Similarly, blessed are those parents who have raised their children well, arranged for their education, taught them good manners, made them aware of their rights and the rights of Allah, and made them civilized and educated human beings, acquainted them with religious education and the Quran and Hadith, and made them people of character and good morals. Such parents have good news and glad tidings of Paradise in this world, and they will also be successful on the Day of Judgment, Insha'Allah. In contrast, those who disobey their parents, cause them pain, treat them unjustly, and are negligent in their rights, woe to those people and the displeasure of Allah, which is the cause of Hell. And similarly, those who have not paid attention to the education and training of their children, have not taught them morals, have not made them aware of manners, principles, and rights, they see examples of Hell in this world. I can never forget that time in my childhood when a part of the roof of our house was blown off during a severe storm and rain, and rainwater was coming inside. My mother put all of us siblings in a safe place and stayed awake all night. This scene is still etched in my heart and mind. Only Allah knows the true reward for the sacrifices my parents made for us. Parents endure all kinds of hardships for their children, so it is obligatory on all of us to respect them and never cause them grief. Unfortunately, today some people do not appreciate this great blessing, which is a very sad thing.
A story comes to mind. Once, a 16-year-old boy said to his mom, "Mom, what gift will you give me on my 18th birthday?" So the boy's mom said to him, "Son, when you turn 18, look on top of the cupboard, your gift will be in it. If I tell you now, the fun of the gift will be gone." A few days later, the boy became ill. His mom and dad took him to the hospital. After the examination, the doctor told the boy's parents that he had a hole in his heart and would not live for more than 2 months. Two years later, the boy went home after recovering, and he found out that his mother had passed away. As soon as he found out, he opened the cupboard and saw that there was a gift in the cupboard. He quickly opened the gift. There was a note in the gift. The note said, "My dear son, if you are reading this note, then you must be perfectly fine. Do you remember when you were sick, we took you to the hospital? The doctor said that you have a hole in your heart. I cried a lot that day and decided that I would give you my heart. Remember one day you asked, 'Mom, what will you give me on my 18th birthday?' So son, I gave you my heart. Always take care of it. Happy birthday, son. A mother died for her son so that her son could live. No one in the world has a bigger heart than a mother. There is no heart in the world like a mother's heart.
May Allah Almighty grant long life to everyone's parents in this world, and may He grant those whose parents have passed away from this world the highest place in Jannat al-Firdous. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.
