*A Thought-Provoking Comparison of the Muslim Ummah and the Jews*

History is not a dead document; it is a living conscience. When its pages are turned, it is not the names of nations but their characters that speak. That is why some nations are known for their morals, discipline, and purpose, while others repeat tales of their glorious past to cover up the weaknesses of the present. Today, the biggest tragedy is that the Muslim Ummah stands in the shadow of its great past but has lost its way in the darkness of the present, while the nation that the Quran has repeatedly criticized seems to be influencing the civilization, economy, and social order of the world today.

The history of the Jewish people is that they disobeyed their Lord, shed the blood of prophets, distorted the divine book, and broke covenants. All this is stated in the Quran and testified to by history. But the bitter truth is that there is one aspect in which they are ahead of us, and that is remaining focused on their purpose. They are on falsehood but are organized, and we, despite being on the truth, are scattered. They are united around their ideology, and we are divided into pieces despite the truth. This is the difference that has become a wall between leadership and slavery, dominance and subjugation today.

The Muslim Ummah has the Quran, which is a complete code of life until the Day of Judgment. We have the life of the Last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, which is a living constitution for every era. We have the character of the Companions (RA), which changed the map of the world. Yet the question is, why are we victims of humiliation, weakness, and neediness today? Because the Quran is in our homes but not in our decisions, the Sunnah is on our tongues but not in our affairs, and religion is our identity but not our priority. We have made the Quran an ornament for shelves, limited the Sunnah to speeches, and divided the religion into sects, schools of thought, and groups. This is where decline has taken root.

Tell me, brother, what about a nation whose daughters do not even know the Kalima, and some daughters do not even know whether we are Muslims or something else? The situation has come to such a point of humiliation that the propaganda of Christianity and Judaism has brought us to such a state that we need a phone more than our own existence, in which lewd platforms can open up before us. The situation is such that if you ask Google, the most blue films (Black videos) are watched by the Muslim Ummah. The least educated nation in the world is the Muslim Ummah. The nation standing at the center of debauchery is the Muslim Ummah. The children who stare at girls at every intersection are the children of the Muslim Ummah. Prejudice is most prevalent in the Muslim Ummah. The Muslim Ummah does not have the ability to see their brother on any standard. Wasteful customs in weddings are found in the Muslim Ummah. There is no dirty department in which the Muslim Ummah is not clothed. You will find them standing at every turn, but on the other hand, the Muslim Ummah is far from its religion. Barking at our leaders has become the motto of the Muslim Ummah. Our mosques are empty, the system in madrassas is disrupted, ignorant and foolish people are occupying the places of scholars, there is no sincerity with Allah and His Messenger in the Muslim Ummah, the Muslim Ummah does not care about civilization, the least trained children are the children of the Muslim Ummah whose mothers only breastfeed them and our mothers listen to songs with earphones (Bluetooth) in their ears, our fathers sit at intersections and talk about the whole world. The situation is so serious that it cannot be described. Allama Iqbal said a long time ago.

There is a noise that Muslims have disappeared from the world

We say, were there any Muslims present at all?

In appearance, you are Christians, and in civilization, you are Hindus

These are Muslims whom the Jews are ashamed to see.

Another dangerous aspect of this decline is that Jewish civilization has quietly entered our lives today. We have adopted their way of thinking, considered their cultural standards as progress, and given their standards of halal and haram the name of reason and modernity. Our economy is based on interest, the standard of success has become wealth, politics revolves around self-interest, and entertainment is immersed in indecency. This is the same civilization that the Quran called misguidance, but we have considered it progress. On the other hand, that nation is firmly holding on to its false ideologies through education, media, economy, and politics, passing on a purpose from generation to generation, and we give our children degrees but not character, purpose, and responsibility.

Now the question is not just of criticism but of change. If the Muslim Ummah really wants to change, it has to make some basic decisions.

*Firstly, the Quran must be made not just a book for recitation but a standard for decisions in the home, the market, and the state.*

*Secondly, the Sunnah must be made not a ritual but a system of life in ethics, economics, and politics.*

*Thirdly, sectarianism, prejudice, and internal conflicts must be abandoned, and the collective interests of the Ummah must be gathered.*

*Fourthly, there must be open rebellion against usurious economy, haram earnings, and illegal means, no matter how difficult the path may be.*

*Fifthly, education must be made not just a means of employment but a means of character building and purpose recognition. Sixthly, media and social platforms must be used to promote values and truth instead of obscenity and hatred. Seventhly, in the upbringing of children, faith, honor, and responsibility must be taught before wealth.*

Those whom the Quran has criticized are not based on lineage but on the corruption of character, and those whom the Quran has called the Ummah Wasat are not based on the honor of lineage but on the height of character. Today, the question is not just which Ummah we belong to, the real question is which civilization dominates within us. This writing is not praise for anyone but a mirror for the Muslim Ummah. If looking at it does not bring tears to the eyes, does not make the heart tremble, and does not force a change of thought, then understand that the disease has become deep. There is still time for us to become Muslims not in name but in character, otherwise history will remember us only as Muslims in name and a conquered nation in practice, and then it will be something like this that these were Muslims who did not know that there was no sincerity with their God, their prophets, their leaders, then what kind of Muslims were they, and my writing is titled *After a few days, historians will write our history, and I fear that they may doubt our faith.*

May Allah Almighty create ease for us, grant us the ability to understand and think, Ameen Ya Rabb Al-Alameen, by the grace of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
