O Saqi! Tell me, why are you leaving the tavern?
After you, who will give the drinkers the wine of knowledge?
Today, both heart and sight are tearful, what a tragedy has happened today? Why is there a wave of sorrow on the world of knowledge and wisdom today? Why is there silence in the path of God, in conduct and Sufism, and in monasteries?
My pen is unable to support me? Thoughts are frozen, I don't understand how to translate my heart? As far as the finger, pen, and thoughts have supported, it is as follows:
Death is a bitter reality that we observe every day.
No one is immune to it, whoever has come into the world has come to leave, day and night the procession of people coming and going continues, since we are the property of God and the owner has complete authority to dispose of his property as he wishes.
But the real death is the one for whose death the world mourns, the grief of whose departure is felt throughout the world, whose departure makes everyone feel orphaned, whose separation makes us feel the beauty of the world and its radiance dull, whose arrival in the neighborhood of mercy makes the angels also sway, this is the real death.
And this is what is expressed as the death of the scholar is the death of the world.
The departure of a person of Allah from this world is no less than a death for the world and the people of the world.
The death of Mahboob-ul-Ulama wal-Sulaha Hazrat Maulana Pir Zulfiqar Sahib Naqshbandi (may Allah have mercy on him) is also such that everything seems sad, his death has had a profound effect on religious people, everyone's nature is weak, faces are withered, bodies are heavy, eyes are tearful and these tears are not stopping.
Until yesterday, those who were offering condolences to others have themselves become the subject of condolences today.
His lovers and followers are spread all over, as if he is such a fruitful tree of divine knowledge and love from which everyone is satisfied, he is a traveler on the path of God behind whom a caravan of love and loyalty walks.
The personality of Hazrat (RA) is such a name of the nation and the world of Sufism and conduct that does not need introduction, those who have some connection with religion will surely be familiar with him.
He was not only a religious, pious, and abstinent elder but also a mentor and reformer of thousands of scholars, pious people, righteous people, and people of Allah.
Hazrat's life is an open book, in which there is a lesson, advice, pain, thought, sorrow, remembrance, recitation, love, sweetness.
As if from whatever angle you look at him, you will find a aspect of your reformation, he was the source of Imdadi Faiz (spiritual blessings) in our time (this era) from which thousands of Sheikhs, scholars and other common and special people were benefiting.
Great intelligent, highly talented scholars used to have a passionate relationship with his assembly for the sake of reforming the inner self and purifying the soul.
But he did not get this position just like that, but behind it are many years of continuous hard work, struggle, worship, asceticism, passion and service.
A student of a school who went out to become an engineer could have walked on this path after succeeding in his goal.
But, the Lord wanted to take the work of reforming His servants from him, so Allah Almighty turned the direction of his life, and created the love of the people of Allah in his heart, then he dedicated himself to the service of the people of Allah, from there he put his heart in the remembrance of Allah, lit the lamp of fear of Allah and love of Allah in his heart and moved forward in it, the one who called himself a beggar among the creatures today, by the grace of Allah, became an emir and leader, God Almighty gave him such a position that he became a great scholarly, practical, spiritual personality.
Hazrat was a true picture of "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."
Hazrat's concern for the Ummah was the same as that of a sincere preacher, that the servants of God should only become God's, and act upon "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
Being freed from the love of the creation and being captured in the love of the Creator, coming out of the pain and suffering of metaphorical love and becoming acquainted with the pleasure of true love.
Hazrat has done such a service to the religion alone that an institution and an organization does.
The scope of Hazrat's service to the religion is very wide, which is not within the reach of a student like me to bring it completely into writing.
In short, all the common and special people used to benefit from him in some way or the other.
Due to the radiance of his face, the style of expression, the painful tone, the sorrow of the Ummah, the yearning of the heart and the sincerity and devotion to Allah, many people have improved their lives, changed the angles of life, thousands of people have repented from the prohibitions and have stepped on the path of obeying the commands.
There is such an effect in a glimpse of Hazrat that people who have gone astray are forced to change the direction of their lives, he was a man of heart, seeing whom people would remember God, such was the state of love for the Prophet that he was blessed with the visitation of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) many times in his dreams, he was always seen in white clothes and turban, he always took care of the Sunnah of the Prophet.
He was a perfect saint, the owner of a spiritual connection, with his departure, scholarly and spiritual gatherings have mourned.
His death has created such a void that its compensation is not visible in the distant future.
He has countless books from which many people like us are benefiting today and are trying to improve their condition.
Hazrat's books are a treasure of knowledge and wisdom, a beautiful bouquet of interpretation and explanation of the Quran and Hadith, advisory Persian Urdu poems and events and miracles of elders, by studying which a thoughtful person can bring his life on the path of truth.
Five years ago, this writer had the honor of studying two books of Hazrat (RA), "Ba Adab Ba Naseeb" (With Respect, With Fortune) and "Haya wa Pakdamani" (Modesty and Chastity), later on, from time to time, there was an opportunity to read different parts of different books, by reading which there was really a special effect on the hearts for some days.
People associated with him have a separate identity in the world today, a specific dignity and resemblance, a dignified personality, gentleness in temperament, sweetness in conversation, always remembrance and recitation on the tongue, this is the condition of those who are benefiting from him.
You can imagine what the state of Sufism and conduct of his Sheikh would be, if this is the state of his disciple.
Even though Hazrat has physically departed from us today, he is spiritually with us, among us, his righteous, true and spiritual children, his books, the blessings of the disciples prepared through him are with us, Insha Allah this blessed series will continue till the Day of Judgment.
We will just say this
He departed in such a way that the season itself changed
One person made the whole city desolate
This writer is praying with folded hands in the court of God that Allah Almighty forgive Hazrat Wala, grant him a place in the highest ranks of Jannat al-Firdous, grant patience to the bereaved and related people and grant the Ummah a good substitute for Hazrat, Amen.
May the sky shower dew on your grave
