Peer Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi (R.A.) — The Silent Caller to the Reformation of the Ummah

He was counted among the prominent spiritual elders of the present era

 who did not limit the service of the religion of Islam to mere preaching and advice, but rather gave it the form of an intellectual and moral movement through the reformation of the inner self and practical training. 

Today, the news of his death has plunged the people of heart and those who benefited from him into deep sorrow and grief.

The deceased was a well-known Sheikh of the Naqshbandi order. 

The basic focus of his invitation was the purification of the soul, following 

the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and building social character. In this era of materialism and intellectual chaos, his message was based on moderation, simplicity and sincerity. His style did not believe in conflict nor did he desire fame, but silent hard work, self-accountability and strong connection with Allah Almighty were his identity.

Especially his services in the moral and spiritual training of the young generation are noteworthy. The effects of his reformist gatherings and training activities were felt in various cities of Pakistan, especially Islamabad, and abroad as well. Thousands of people tried to mold their lives according to Sharia and Sunnah through his company.

Peer Zulfiqar Ahmed Naqshbandi (RA)'s death is undoubtedly a spiritual void, however, his teachings, trained individuals and reformist thought will continue to be a Sadaqah Jariyah for him. 

May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a high position in His mercy and grant patience to the bereaved and devotees.
