*December 6th and the Desecration of the Constitution of India*

Some days in history are not just dates that pass by; those days are etched on the conscience of nations. Those days are written in black ink in the book of time and remain alive in the memory of generations as a permanent question. December 6th (Black Day) is also one such day that reminds us not only of a tragedy but of the failure of an entire system, which is not just the fall of a mosque but has been preserved in history as the fall of the dignity of justice, because when people sitting on the seat of justice betray the constitution while keeping it in front of them, and give a decision in favor of something that should not have been before any judge, then that day is not only a bad day for the nation against whom it was given but against every human being who trusts in the Constitution of India because today this injustice was against us, tomorrow when the time comes, the same injustice will be done to you, because their problem is not who you are, their problem is only who is in dignity, I consider such people not judges but those who make fun of the Constitution of India, and I will present the evidence that the Supreme Court accepted, and still the decision was in their favor, if this is not making fun of the Constitution of India then what is it? Come, listen to all the documents that were filed in the court, yet the decision was against us.

The Babri Masjid was not just a building of bricks and stones; it remained a place of worship for Muslims for centuries. Azans were recited there, prostrations were made there, the recitation of the Quran echoed there. The *court itself admitted that it was a place of worship for Muslims, prayers were regularly offered there, and the religious right of Muslims over it was recognized. The court also admitted that by placing idols there overnight, the atmosphere of the mosque was changed, and Muslims were forcibly prevented from worship. The court also acknowledged the fact that the Babri Masjid was not built by demolishing any temple, and those who claim this have not been able to present any definitive and conclusive evidence to date*. And even after acknowledging all this, the decision came out as a result of which the way was paved for the construction of a temple by erasing a mosque. This is the point where the question is not just of a court decision, but of the spirit of the Constitution of India, its impartiality, and its fundamental promises. Despite this, the mosque was demolished in broad daylight. That place of worship, the protection of which the constitution itself had taken upon itself, was handed over to a barbaric mob. This was not just the demolition of a place of worship; it was such a wound placed on the chest of the constitution of this country from which the blood of justice is still oozing. After that, the way was paved for the construction of a temple at the same sacred place, although the decision was given against it despite the fact being acknowledged. This was not just a decision in favor of one party; it was an open challenge against the principles of justice, the rule of law, and the moral strength of the Constitution of India.

The Constitution of India gives religious freedom to every citizen, guarantees respect and protection of every place of worship, and declares that the law will be above all on this land, but in the case of Babri Masjid, these fundamental principles of the Constitution were violated. Evidence was present, the truth had been acknowledged before the court, but despite that, the decision was given in the direction of power. This was the moment where the eyes of justice were not blindfolded, but it was forcibly tied. This was the hour where the tongue of the law was silenced, and the desire of the majority was given the name of justice, and the property of Muslims was handed over to someone else. When our right is snatched away, should we not even celebrate Black Day according to the Constitution of India? And what should we say to those sitting on the seat of justice, but we will definitely say that remember, a day of justice will surely come, and Insha'Allah Al-Aziz, the mosque itself will tell why the mosque was necessary there, and those who are playing with the Constitution of India while sitting on the seat of justice, that day will tell you, and you yourself will understand that we were not worthy of sitting on the seat of justice, and I have read such pages of history.

When a Jewish general filed a case against a Mujahid (warrior) in Iran, and then he had to make rounds of Darul Qaza (court), then Darul Qaza reached the conclusion that the Mujahid should be sentenced to death by a dog fed on Jewish scraps, then I also read those pages of history, he had only one daughter and when he was near death he wished to meet his daughter, the daughter asked the same *question, O my father, you are very close to death, was the decision you made in favor of that Mujahid right?* Then he said, I swear by the honor of Allah *it was given on the orders of Azrael and the constitution was set aside* then his daughter mixed her slipper in the mud and slapped it hard on his face and he passed away from this mortal world to Darul Baqa (eternal abode) and went to hell, remember:

The truth can never be hidden by false principles,

Fragrance can never come from paper flowers.

We will tell this truth to our children that our Babri Masjid was demolished in blatant violation of the Constitution of India, injustice was done to us in the name of justice, and this wound will not only be a part of the memory of one generation, but of many generations, so that the coming generations can know how the truth was suppressed, and how oppression was made a part of history, and the people sitting in Darul Qaza worked to snatch away our emotions, our feelings, our rights and put a stain on the sacred constitution of our country, every line of which is commendable for us.

It is hereby declared that the religious character of a place worship existing on the 15th day of August, 1947 shall continue to be the same as it existed on that day.

This act of our India clearly tells us that the places of worship will remain as they are, then who gave you the right to demolish Babri Masjid or other mosques, if mosques are still being demolished, there is talk of banning madrassas, there is talk of snatching the identity of Muslims, then how is this in accordance with the constitution? Then why is this not playing with the Constitution of India?

December 6th Black Day does not only mean that our Babri Masjid was snatched away in it, but it also means that on this day, those who have understanding, keeping our constitution in front of them, have embarrassed our constitution, and caused such a blow to the existence of Muslims which is unbearable, because our right has been snatched away from us which our constitution does not allow.

May Allah Almighty grant those sitting in Darul Qaza the ability to decide with justice and grant the ability to protect the honor and dignity of the Constitution of India, and may the hand that caused the demolition of our mosque be afflicted with leprosy, Ameen Ya Rabb Al-Alameen, by the grace of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
