*Parents' Negligence and Children's Drowning Future*
Today, a strange scene is common in homes: the mother is busy with her mobile, the father is used to waking up late, and the children are seen going to school and madrassa with empty stomachs and half-asleep eyes. This is no ordinary mistake; it is the foundation of the destruction of tomorrow. This problem is increasing rapidly in the homes of Malegaon. Parents are taking morning responsibilities lightly, but the reality is that the morning time is the door to the child's future, and until he is active in the morning, what do you think he will become a Mujahid? What do you think is his destiny only to rest? When these thoughts are already in our minds, tell me, for God's sake, how can those children reach a high position? If perhaps you have studied those chapters of success in India, in which it is written that 60% of Muslim children study, and some of them do 10th, some 12th, some BA, or MA and sit at home, and they do not reach that high position where they get jobs, but the situation is that only 02% to 03% of Muslim children remain who reach there. Then, brother, it is certain that when so few people reach, so few will get government jobs. Brother, study up to there, then you will get a job. Then our saying that the government is not giving jobs is nothing but foolishness. Rather, the truth is that we are not even reaching where government jobs are available.
Our elders used to sleep early at night, wake up early in the morning, and spend the time after Fajr in knowledge, worship, and hard work. Their success was hidden in this discipline. Today, we stay awake late at night and waste the blessings of the morning in sleep, and then we are surprised why there is no peace, why there is scarcity in sustenance, and why the children are weak. Perhaps you have read all those verses of the Holy Quran that shout that Allah has made the day for livelihood and the night for rest. Now I would like to ask the parents, you gave a mobile of fifty thousand, then you forgot what our son does, how long he stays awake, when he sleeps, what he does. What do you think your responsibility towards your child is over? But the problem is that when the father himself is a drunkard, how can he forbid the son from alcohol? Only when he himself gets free from the phone and TV social media will he ask. Today, the biggest hand in the decline of the Muslim nation is that of the parents. Otherwise, even today, the pages of history are witness that when they are trained according to the methods of Islam, then that day is not far when they will be seen becoming Mujahid, Mufassir, Muballigh, Madras, Mufakkir, InshaAllah Al-Aziz.
There are other religions too, we are followers of Islam, the Quran is a true book, countless verses of the same Holy Quran demand that a Muslim is intelligent, a Muslim is clever, a Muslim is successful, then despite all these things, why is failure the destiny of Muslims?
Brother, we have principles but no one to act on them, we have civilization but no one to implement it. It is a fact that we Muslims are successful, clever, intelligent, there is no doubt in it, but brother, if we come down to the worldly platform, then we are weak in terms of economy as well. For God's sake, I have read those pages of history when Hazrat Umar Farooq Azam (may Allah be pleased with him) became the Caliph, and the Islamic state reached its peak, then there came a time when Allah Almighty had given so much wealth to the Muslims that they had to build Bait-ul-Mal for their Zakat, charity, and Ushr. Even the poor people of other classes had become rich, and now every person used to wander around with his Zakat in his hands, but no deserving of Zakat was visible. Islam has seen this era too. We have to understand, brother, Islam is not a religion of teaching poverty but always believes in progress.
But we have wasted the beautiful time of the morning due to our sleep and forgot what the Prophet of Islam ﷺ had taught and what is the benefit of waking up in the morning, and this is what is entering our children. The Holy Prophet ﷺ prayed for blessings in the morning time. In this time, there is peace, mental freshness, expansion of sustenance, and goodness, but we have made it a habit to sleep again after Fajr. Blessings are being distributed, and we are wrapped in blankets. This is not deprivation of moments but of generations.
The biggest tragedy is that a large number of children in Malegaon go to school and madrassa without breakfast on an empty stomach. There is nothing in the stomach, no strength in the body. What will such a child read, what will he understand, what will he compete with? This is not the weakness of the children
This is the result of the parents' negligence. Preparing and giving breakfast on time is the responsibility of the mother. Brother, when you people commit negligence towards your children, then why can those children waste time and think about their future when they find out that we can tolerate hunger? Then how can he think about food? For God's sake, we have to pay attention to our children, understand, and teach. And these are the responsibilities of the parents, and when they realize this after the time has passed, then those children will have grown up, and you will be left wringing your hands. Then it will be something like this: Neither did we find God, nor the union of the beloved, we remained neither here nor there. We have to pay attention to our children.
Preparation is also a part of training, cleanliness, neatness, correctness of clothes, oil, cap or dupatta, bag, water, small breakfast, all these create responsibility in the child, and when the family members themselves are careless, how will the children become responsible? Today's small negligence becomes tomorrow's big mistake, today's laziness comes in the form of tomorrow's disobedience, *and special care should be taken, neither too much leniency should be given, nor too much strictness should be done, but the Islamic perspective of thought is that in everything, the moderate (middle) situation should be kept*
And this is the best, and this is also the principle of Islam, and from this, the belief in Islam being a true and certain religion is also confirmed, where Islam sees strictness, it also believes in acting with strictness, and when it sees leniency, it also believes in leniency. We must think about it.
But our attitude and action change even with the change of weather. Winter is the biggest excuse. As soon as winter comes, a sentence echoes in the homes: Let them sleep, it's cold. If it's cold, then wear warm clothes, get warmth from the fire. Who said to lie in a blanket, or go to bed early, but wasting the morning by making winter a reason is a loss. Sleeping after Fajr is not just sleep, but also a cause of lack of blessings. O parents: You are not only responsible for yourselves
You are also responsible for the future of your children. Wake up yourself in the morning, wake up the children, prepare them, give them breakfast, and send them off with prayers. These are the few minutes that build character, bring light into the house, and change the destinies of the children. We need not only to think about this but also to act upon it.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to train our children according to His command and grant the children of our nation the ability to acquire higher education. Ameen Ya Rabb Al-Alameen Bijah Al-Nabi Al-Kareem ﷺ.
