Democracy and Khilafat (Caliphate)
There is a world of difference between the democratic and Khilafat systems.
Regarding democracy, some people adopt a very aggressive attitude.
Some people believe and understand that democracy is deceit, deception, and a system of government created by infidels.
But the question is: Is fighting against this system Jihad (holy war)?
This is a very big question.
Just to bring this system, will killing thousands, even millions, of young people be called martyrdom?
Remember, I do not support democracy,
but drawing a sword or taking up arms against it is neither wise nor a Sharia-compliant (Islamic law) method.
If the matter is understood, it is a simple and easily understandable thing.
Democracy is a system of government created by infidels,
just as mobile phones or televisions are devices made by infidels,
but they are not inherently disbelief (Kufr).
Similarly, democracy is not inherently disbelief, but a system created by infidels.
Striving for the establishment of Khilafat is considered important,
but this struggle should not be through weapons.
As in the past, the Kharijites
(اِنِ الحُکمُ اِلّا لِلّٰہ) (The authority rests only with Allah)
used to chant,
and also waged war against Hazrat Ali (RA).
Apparently, it was a beautiful slogan,
but there was no correct understanding of religion behind it.
Even today, some people who consider themselves intellectuals and wise,
raise very beautiful slogans, but they themselves do not act on the commands of Sharia,
but merely spread murder, mayhem, and fear.
Whereas the sanctity of a Muslim is greater than the Kaaba Sharif,
but those who have twisted Jihad according to their wishes and changed its conditions,
will be accountable on the Day of Judgment.
Disagreement with institutions is a separate matter.
Some institutions want the scholars to speak according to their wishes,
but the scholars of Deoband prioritize Islam and Sharia above everything else,
and they follow the Sunnah (practices) of their elders.
You see, Imam Malik (RA) and Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) had thousands of followers,
but they did not revolt against the government of the time.
Therefore, Islam should not be harmed by one's emotions.
Islamic Sharia is not anyone's personal inheritance,
it is the religion of Allah Almighty.
Every person, every leader, every Muslim is a servant of this religion.
The one who accepts is Almighty Allah.
He may admit the servant of the mosque to Jannat al-Firdous (highest level of paradise), no one can question it,
and if He throws a worshiper and ascetic into hell, no one can question it.
Therefore, do not harm Islam with your emotions.
Dedicate your abilities and efforts to Islam.
Raise the flag of Islam in Delhi (India) - who is stopping you?
Fight in Kashmir,
Fight with Israel,
Fight with America—
Go, see! The Uyghur Muslims are waiting for you.
May Allah Almighty grant us all a correct understanding of religion,
and take work of Deen (religion) from us.
Ameen, O Lord of the Martyrs and Mujahideen.
