Some things are such that their knowledge is with Allah alone, which are under Allah's wisdom and will, but because we cannot understand Allah's wisdom and will, we cannot be patient with it.

As mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Kahf about the journey of Hazrat Musa (A.S.) and Khidr (A.S.): When they were traveling on a boat, Khidr (A.S.) broke the plank of the boat. Since Musa (A.S.) did not know the wisdom behind it, he disliked that Khidr (A.S.) broke the intact boat. Therefore, he could not be patient with it and, according to his knowledge and understanding, considered it a very bad deed, even though that deed was by the command of Allah so that those poor boatmen could be helped because the boat belonged to some needy people who worked in the river, and the reason for breaking the boat was that there was a king ahead in the river who would forcibly seize every intact boat. Now think, if that boat had reached the king intact, would he have left it? He would have seized the boat, and those needy people would have been in big trouble, their work would have stopped. They would have faced unknown circumstances. Allah saved them from a big loss by causing them a small loss. Allah did this to save them from a big loss.
Then they started their journey ahead. On this journey, they found a boy. Khidr (A.S.) killed that boy. Then Musa (A.S.) considered it wrong according to Sharia and said to Khidr (A.S.) that you have taken the life of an innocent person, not in exchange for anyone's blood. This is a very unjust and undesirable act. He objected to it and considered it a very bad deed, but behind it was also hidden the wisdom of Allah, which Musa (A.S.) was unaware of. The parents of the boy whom Khidr (A.S.) killed were righteous and faithful, and it was possible that the boy would make his parents helpless and worried in the future with his rebellion and disbelief. Therefore, he killed him so that their Lord would grant them a child better than him in purity and more loving and affectionate. Here too, Allah put them in this trial so that they could be saved from a bigger trial.
I have often seen people whose children often get involved in nonsense, become disobedient to their parents, and humiliate them because of their wrongdoings. Sometimes it happens that they leave their parents to wander from door to door. Then those parents say that it would have been better if Allah had kept us childless than to have such children... Khidr (A.S.) killed that child so that his parents could be saved from the torment of that day.
The same thing happens with us. Sometimes someone we know is sick, a very dear one passes away, someone's business is ruined, sometimes someone has an accident, sometimes our belongings are stolen, sometimes we have a small loss and sometimes a big loss. All this happens by the permission of Allah, not to cause us pain, but to save us from more painful suffering, so that He may grant us something better than that, and because of our lack of understanding, we cannot be patient with it and start complaining to Allah, start asking questions why did this happen to me?
What have we been punished for?
Why did this loss happen to us?
Have these troubles found the way to our house?
Why has Allah put poverty in our share?
Why did Allah take our loved one from us?
There are many more objections like this. On such occasions, words of gratitude never come to our lips that whatever Allah has done, there will be some good in it for us. If Allah has put us in trial, if we have suffered any loss, then Allah will reward us with something better and greater than that.
Whenever the heart says "Why only me?"__ then remember: the owner of the boat, the parents of the child, and us... all are in Allah's encompassing knowledge. The knowledge of us humans is limited, and Allah's wisdom is unlimited! Just as the livelihood of the needy was saved by making a hole in the boat, in the same way, Allah sometimes takes a little from us and gives more. Those diseases, those failures, those separations that come into our lives are perhaps a shield against a bigger trial.
Just as Khidr (A.S.) breaking the boat and killing the child seemed wrong outwardly, but in reality, there was Allah's mercy in it.
 As Allah Almighty says, "وَعَسَىٰ أَنْ تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ"
Translation: It is possible that you dislike something, while it is good for you.
May our faith become so strong that we learn to be patient and grateful instead of complaining.
