This delightful news was received from a close associate that respected Ustaad Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Yusuf Qasmi Mewati (Ustaad Jamia Madan-ul-Uloom Jhamrawat Mewat) will also participate in the two-day "Mufti Azam Kifayatullah Dehlavi Seminar" being held in Delhi under the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (29/30 Jumadi Al-Awwal corresponding to 21/22 November). Furthermore, Hazrat Ustaad-e-Mohtaram has already arrived in Delhi for this purpose. Hearing this, my heart leaped with joy, my face lit up with happiness and delight, and feelings of joy began to circulate in my disorganized mind and thoughts. My tongue and heart began to hum tunes of joy and happiness, and my pen was eager to write, but it got lost in the twists and turns of words in such a way that I couldn't understand what to write or how to write. In short, I am writing these few lines with courage. Whenever I write, especially about a personality, I am afraid of disrespecting the elders, so I seek advance forgiveness from Hazrat Ustaad-e-Mohtaram.

Bahadur Shah Zafar says:

Greatness comes from hard work, for in this world, even a gem

Never gains fame without the labor of the chest.

The reality is that hard work and success are necessarily linked. Rather, it should be said that it is a relationship of cause and effect. The explanation for this is that sometimes successes, heights, advancements, and fame are achieved without hard work and effort. Sometimes, all these positions and offices are also transferred through inheritance. However, for those who strive and work hard, the attainment of all these heights and advancements is certain and definite. When I heard this news about Hazrat Mufti Sahib, my mind immediately turned to the fact that this is, without exaggeration, the fruit of Mufti Sahib's day and night efforts, continuous hard work, and the result of his scientific and practical struggles with consistency and perseverance, and the irrigation of many years of cultivation. Because, according to my knowledge, Hazrat Mufti Sahib is the first unique individual in his family to engage in the knowledge of religion. Therefore, it is perfectly appropriate to say that all this is the pleasant result of Mufti Sahib's personal hard work, effort, and passion.

Abu Turab says:

I found what was in the ship through hard work,

The river of fragrance was in my sweat.

I have seen your days and nights very closely. You are always busy with scholarly work. Except for a few hours, you spend all your time in the library. Students are constantly coming to you. Many students often come to you with books on various sciences and arts. Some are understanding grammar, while others are eager to understand a logical proposition. Some are getting translations done, while others are getting the application of issues done, etc., etc. In short, you never refuse anyone. It was common to be busy reading, writing, and studying books until one or two o'clock at night, and sometimes it would go even further. The winter and summer seasons made no difference to this routine, and the amazing thing is that you would then teach a lesson immediately after Fajr prayer (in most madrasas in Mewat, there is no breakfast break immediately after Fajr prayer, as is the case in Jamia). You would also encourage students to study well and motivate them. When you went to sleep late at night, you would often take a round of the mosque. Once, you went to the mosque around 1:30 at night and distributed sweets to the students who were studying at that time. We used to whisper among ourselves that Mufti Sahib works so hard and strives so much even during the teaching period, and we are still victims of this negligence and carelessness even during the student period. You would explain things well to the students, give them good advice, and especially emphasize writing, reading, and studying books. You would emphasize writing daily a lot. I don't know how many countless times you must have repeated this sentence: "Keep writing, keep writing, by writing, you will become a writer."

It is also a matter of great happiness that just a few days ago, Hazrat Mufti Sahib has also established a library in the name of "Majlis-e-Ilmi Mewat," from which, by the grace of Allah Almighty, five books have been published. This is a great favor of yours upon us students. May Allah Almighty reward Hazrat Mufti Sahib, bless his scientific and practical works, honor him with all kinds of advancements, and grant us unworthy ones the ability to learn something from you. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
