Respected Readers, today's society is changing rapidly, and along with these changes, the trend of indecency is also increasing alarmingly. When moral boundaries weaken, both the individual and the family become victims of insecurity, disruption, and chaos. Indecency not only causes spiritual and moral decline but also has profound negative effects on social values, character building, and the future of generations. This is why understanding this topic seriously and being aware of its fatal consequences has become an important need of the time.
Today's era is undoubtedly called the era of technology, freedom of expression, and innovation, but along with this rapid progress, a storm has also arisen that has shaken the roots of social values, and that is the growing trend of indecency. This trend appears to be wrapped in the beautiful slogans of freedom and the right to choose, but in reality, it is a prelude to moral degradation, spiritual weakness, and social chaos.
Indecency causes hardness of the heart and desolation of the soul. When a person is deprived of the wealth of modesty, sin becomes trivial for them, and misconduct becomes normal. Modesty is an important branch of faith, and its weakening is actually a sign of the weakening of faith. The increase in adultery, infidelity, debauchery, and illicit relationships in society is a result of this deficiency.
Indecency not only causes moral damage but also gives rise to mental and social illnesses.
Mental anxiety, insecurity, envy, competition, and lack of self-confidence, and infidelity in relationships, all these diseases arise when a person violates boundaries to make their personality look attractive in the eyes of others.
Islam has declared modesty as the ornament of faith and the beauty of character. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Modesty is a part of faith." Modesty keeps a person away from the brink of evil, protects the eyes, purifies thoughts, and illuminates the heart.
Societies that hold on to modesty experience peace, trust, and the promotion of good. The current wave of indecency seems like enlightenment, but in reality, it is an attack on the foundations of society. If we do not build a dam against this flow in time, the coming generations will inherit a meaningless, unrestrained, and restless life. Modesty is not just the name of dress or outward veil; it is the purity of the heart, the transparency of thought, and the strength of character. A society is called civilized only when its individuals are adorned with the ornament of modesty and morality.
O Allah, Lord of the Worlds, protect us from all kinds of indecency, evil, and misguidance. Adorn our hearts with purity and our character with modesty. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
