In this installment, the warnings against criticizing scholars have been mentioned.
Disrespecting people of knowledge is a cause of misguidance and incurring the wrath of God. It is narrated from some elders that backbiting about any Muslim is like eating the flesh of a dead brother, and backbiting about scholars is like eating the poisonous flesh of a dead brother. That is, in the case of backbiting or slandering scholars, deprivation and destruction are almost certain.
Hazrat Aun bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"I said to Amir al-Mu'minin Umar bin Abdul Aziz:
"It is said that if you have the ability to become a scholar, then try to become a scholar as much as possible, and if you cannot become a scholar, then become a student, and if you do not have the ability to become a student, then love them (scholars and students), if you are not able to love them, then (at least) do not hate them."
Umar bin Abdul Aziz replied:
"Subhan Allah! Allah has given respite to this (last) person as well." [Ibn Abd al-Barr Jami' Bayan al-'Ilm wa Fadlihi, 1.142-143]
That is, according to the narration, a Muslim should either become a scholar, or a student, or a lover of them, and the last form of concession is that at least he should not hate the scholars and students of religion. If he becomes the fifth type, he will be destroyed.
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mubarak (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"It is true that a wise person should not disrespect three types of people:
Scholars, rulers, and his Muslim brother.
Whoever disrespects the scholars will be deprived of the afterlife, whoever disrespects the rulers will be deprived of worldly life, and whoever disrespects his brother will be deprived of good morals and character." [Al-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam al-Nubala 17:251]

Conclusion:
Scholars are the heirs of the prophets, disagreement with them is possible, but there is a scientific procedure for it. Rudeness on social media and following so-called intellectuals is creating intellectual chaos in the society.

The purpose of writing this article is only and only to protect the public from undue criticism of scholars.
