Criticism of Scholars... Part Two (Social Media 🎙️ and So-Called Scholars 🗣️) ✍🏻

Social media and so-called scholars have jointly opened a front against religious scholars, the purpose of which is not reform but ridicule.

The following factors are prominent in this:

Social media has given everyone the right to "vote." Now, an ordinary person, who does not even have basic knowledge of religion, starts criticizing scholars who have years of hard work and scholarly experience. In the race for likes and shares, ethical boundaries are often ignored. 

Many people have emerged on digital platforms who call themselves "scholars" without traditional religious education (Dars-e-Nizami, etc.). 

 These people impress the younger generation through their eloquence and modern terminology.

 These so-called scholars often try to undermine public confidence in authentic religious institutions by proving traditional scholars to be "conservative" or "sectarian."
