Whether a person is wise or foolish, learned or ignorant, everyone makes mistakes. No one can escape error and sin. There is no one who has not made a mistake, nor is there anyone who has only done good deeds. Good and evil, right and wrong, truth and falsehood are inherent in human nature and conscience.
Allah Almighty created forgiveness and forbearance:
In the Holy Quran, it is said: Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
If there were no sins and mistakes, there would be no forgiveness and forbearance. A person's forbearance is known in times of anger, and their generosity is known in times of need. If a dyer does not have white cloth, how will anyone know that they are a dyer? Allah Almighty addressed His servants and said: Deal with people with forgiveness and forbearance. Do you not like that Allah Almighty should forgive you?
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not quarrel with your brother, nor make fun of your brother, and do not make a promise that you cannot fulfill.
When this verse was revealed to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; and turn away from the ignorant," he asked Jibril (Gabriel), "What is this?" Jibril (peace be upon him) replied: "Allah Almighty has commanded you that when someone breaks ties with you, you should maintain ties with them; give to those who withhold from you; and forgive those who wrong you."
We should ask for forgiveness without hesitation,
for that is greatness. It also lightens the burden on the heart and reduces anxiety. If we want to make our environment and society pleasant, we must make forgiveness common. This will promote love, strengthen relationships, bring friends closer, strengthen trust, and create a society full of peace and tranquility.
