That two-month-long blessing that the students received was, in reality, not just a simple vacation, but a complete era of rule—an era in which every student considered himself an uncrowned king. No restrictions of lessons, no fear of not reciting lessons, no awe-inspiring presence of the respected teacher—just freedom and freedom!
The morning would begin with the poor sun having crossed half the sky, but our esteemed student would still be wandering in the valley of dreams in a state of ecstasy. If someone asked:
“Sir! It is morning!”
The reply would be:
“For us, the dawn has not yet appeared!”
The afternoon was sacrificed to the mobile phone, the evening dedicated to gatherings with friends, and the night spent in great thought—that is, where to go for a stroll tomorrow!
It seemed as if the entire system of the universe had changed, and the student was now living under a new constitution of life.
But… every rise has a fall, and after every continuous enjoyment, the call to return will inevitably be announced one day!
Suddenly, one day the news arrives:
“Schools have reopened; attendance is mandatory from tomorrow!”
Hearing this was like a sudden lightning strike to the heart. Those who were laughing until yesterday are now drowned in an ocean of silence. Those who were telling plans to friends until yesterday are now cursing their fate.
Now see the morning scene:
The alarm is ringing, but the student is sleeping as if resting in a cave of the Sleepers of Ephesus. The mother's first voice: "Son, wake up!"
Second voice: "Aren't you going to school?"
And the third voice… that is a minor doomsday!
Getting out of bed feels like being sent into exile. Ablution is also performed as if performing a ritual of compulsion, and looking at the face, it is clear that the heart is still residing in the valley of vacations.
The books, which had been secluded in the cupboard for two months, are now taken out with great pride. But the state of the student's heart is something like this:
"O dear books! Our meeting is not by our will, but by the compulsion of circumstances!"
The first scene upon reaching school:
Friends are smiling at each other as if fellow sufferers have met. The same question in everyone's eyes:
"Brother! How did all this happen so suddenly?"
Then the respected teacher appears, and utters the first sentence:
"What did you study during the holidays?"
This question affects the student's heart as if someone has reopened an old wound. The heart screams:
"Sir! We have only memorized different lessons of sleep!"
Some students even answer with great boldness:
"Sir! The intention was great, but the circumstances were not favorable!"
Although the circumstances only meant that sleep had prevailed! 😄
In short, the same old system has been restored. Memorizing lessons, reciting lessons, getting scolded, and dreaming of the next vacation in one's heart!
But the truth is that this imprisonment of school is actually a prelude to a freedom that takes a person to the high destinations of knowledge, awareness, and success.
However…
Students understand this philosophy when the next vacation is near! 😄
