Jehadi Stories
Mujahida (Female Mujahid)
Hamas........
In 1983, she was an innocent five-year-old girl. That year, two events occurred, both of which remained etched in her memory like a hair on glass until the last night of her life. She was a child, like a soft and delicate porcelain doll. Their home was in the Gaza Strip in Palestine. She went to the market with her mother, who was carrying a basket of date palm leaves. Suddenly, there was a commotion. Two young men ran into the market, bleeding and their clothes torn. Moments later, the sound of gunfire erupted. Commandos entered the market and ordered everyone to lie on the floor. Her mother screamed, picked her up, threw her to the ground, and lay on top of her. The sound of bullets filled the air, and terrifying screams arose. A liquid substance covered her clothes, hair, and face. A booming voice came from the market, "Move!" People quickly began to leave, but the girl did not understand what "move" meant. So, she turned back and saw the two young men lying on the floor, blood gushing from their bodies onto the ground. Filled with fear and terror, she hid in her mother's chest. This was the first time she fainted in her life. Her mother said that she remained unconscious for weeks and had a high fever that never left her until she died. Whenever she heard the sound of gunfire or a scream, her body would burn with fever. She would lie in a semi-conscious state for weeks. When she recovered, two corpses and a blood-soaked frock became her possessions. This frock remained with her until her last breath, and when she attained the rank of "Shaheed Mujahida" (Martyr Mujahid), this frock was tied to her body.
When she asked her mother about those two young men, her mother silenced her by saying, "Friends of Allah."..
The second incident happened in October of the same year, a little far from her house in a settlement. Some Palestinian youths filled a truck with explosives, and the truck crashed into the American headquarters in Beirut. A deafening explosion occurred, killing hundreds of Israelis. A few hours after the explosion, Israeli soldiers surrounded the settlement, gathered everyone in the open, separated two dozen young men, and shot them in front of everyone. They also ordered everyone not to take their eyes off the corpses for two hours, or they would become corpses themselves. She once again took refuge in her mother's chest. Two weeks later, when her condition improved, she asked her mother whose corpses were lying in the field. Her mother softly said, "Of Allah's friends." A question arose in her innocent mind: Who killed Allah's friends? Her mother replied, "Allah's enemies." This was the second memory in her innocent mind that remained with her until her last breath--
    *Joining Hamas*
Much later, when she was sixteen years old, she joined "Hamas." She retrieved the files from May 1983 and learned about both incidents in detail. She learned that the young men who were martyred were university students. They had organized a peaceful rally with other students. Israeli soldiers blocked their way. They threw stones, and the soldiers fired tear gas shells. The young men fled. These two young men were trapped by the commandos. A clash occurred, and they escaped from there and were killed after reaching the market. They were among the early martyrs of the Palestinian movement.
      *Second Important Incident:*
The second incident occurred in Beirut. America and its allies had settled in Beirut and were building camps.
Some young men decided to drive them out of Beirut. America had more weapons and resources, but these young men formed a squad of fidayeen (suicide attackers) and gave them the target of removing the Americans from Beirut. These fidayeen carried out three major operations. One fidayee filled 200 kilograms of explosives on April 18, 1983, covered it with iron pieces, loosened all the nails, screws, and hinges of the truck, and the truck crashed into the American embassy in Beirut. An explosion occurred, killing 65 American officials, including the director of the CIA. 120 were injured, 57 of whom spent the rest of their lives disabled. The other incidents occurred on October 23, 1983. Two fidayeen filled trucks with explosives. One truck crashed into the American headquarters, and the other truck crashed into the French camp in Beirut. In this explosion, 61 French soldiers were killed, and 311 were injured. These explosions had an immediate effect. In the first decade of November 1983, America and France evacuated Beirut.
      *Decision to Become a Fidayee*
Immediately after reading these events, she decided to become a *"Fidayee."* Thus, in January 2000, the Fidayee section was formed in the Palestinian organization Hamas, and she became the leader of this section.
*Wafa Idris set an example by carrying out a Fidayee attack*
This is the story of Wafa Idris, a graduate of Al-Najah University in Nablus. On January 27, 2002, Wafa Idris carried out a Fidayee attack in Jerusalem, giving a new turn to the Palestinian movement. After the martyrdom of this Mujahida, thirteen squads of Fidayeen emerged in Palestine, in which dozens of young men, inspired, vowed to continue Wafa Idris's mission. From January 2002 to May 9, 21 Fidayee attacks took place in Israeli areas, killing a total of 231 Israelis and injuring 514. These attacks doubled Israel's security budget. America dedicated a satellite to Israel, which focused on Israel 24 hours a day and provided information on the movement of explosives. Israel installed security devices in markets, shopping centers, railway stations, markets, and parks. But despite this, the number of Fidayee attacks did not decrease. Every day, a Palestinian youth comes forward somewhere, shouts Allahu Akbar, pulls the detonator of the bomb tied to his stomach, and blows up dozens of Israelis.
Fidayee attacks have changed the mood of the whole world.
