*The Lamp of Education and Our Responsibilities*

Today, after many days, at a relative's wedding, I met a brother who is preparing for the DM exam. He wasn't exactly my classmate, but his love, his nobility, and his affection always made my heart feel like he was a close childhood friend. When the conversation started, old memories made the atmosphere very familiar and pleasant.

In the course of our conversation, I asked him how far his education and preparation had progressed. He said in a confident tone, "Brother, pray for me, Insha'Allah Al-Aziz, I will definitely be selected this time." Hearing his words, a strange joy arose in my heart, as if the hope of fulfilling my own dream had been awakened. When someone close to you is progressing on the path of advancement, the peace that the heart feels is beyond words.

We spent the whole day together. His words surprised me and also impressed me. The eagerness to do something for the nation, the sense of responsibility, and the spark of positive thinking were reflected in everything he said. He would end every topic and repeat the same thing: "Brother, do something for the nation." There was pain in his voice, truth, and a great message.

Then he said a sentence that pierced my heart like an arrow. He said that we can reach any great field, only the condition is to try, otherwise the fields are open to everyone, but unfortunately, we do not even start trying. He told me that when he was in the first year class, there were a total of 4500 students, but only twenty to thirty Muslim children were among them. It is worth thinking about where we are lagging behind.

Do our children not study? They certainly do, but they cannot reach their destination. Their education is stopped somewhere, or they themselves become disappointed and stop at some point. And the reality is also that we only educate our children enough so that they pass tenth grade, twelfth grade, or get a BA degree, but after that, the same child who deserved a high position just becomes an ordinary grass cutter, a laborer, or a small worker.

Why?

Was this what we spent money on him for?

Was this what we endured his hard work for?

If we had given a little more patience, a little more encouragement, a little more time equal to the same expense, then the same child would have been sitting in a chair in an office, working with respect in a department, or would have become a strong support for the nation.

Why do we limit our children's education to just reading and writing? They should know Hindi, write Urdu, type in English, is this the future? Does life change with this? Education is what changes thinking, builds character, and takes a person to such a position where his identity becomes knowledge.

We have to change our thinking, we have to move our children forward, we have to give them not just a degree but a destination. The progress of the nation starts from the home. When a child moves forward, the light of the whole generation increases.

Today's meeting changed my heart, changed my thinking, and awakened the feeling that if we hold our children's hands and move them forward, keep the light in their path, and protect their dreams, then no exam, no field, no competition can stop our way.

According to a research, it is known that the total number of Muslim students studying is only 40%, out of which a few reach a high position in the educational field, some leave school after passing tenth grade, some twelfth, some BA, even our Muslim community's children are only 02% left by the time they reach a high position. Now tell me, how can we get jobs when only 02% of the people of the community reach the destination of success, and we have made this the problem that we do not get jobs. Brother, why not? You will get it, but reach that position first. Haven't you seen, just a few years ago, a Muslim man became the king of the AI world? The nation is surprised to hear about such a big post. How did he become that? Brother, he had education. His educational standard was so high that AI bought him and put him in the CO post, and not in his own country but in America, where it is said that 99% of the population is highly educated, but still a person was called from another country only on the basis of his higher education. My point is, brother, you reach that position so that people buy you, but our system is declining a lot and it will happen, brother, how can a community with only 02% highly educated people achieve any destination? Brother, you only educate one child, but educate him so much that he can stand on any platform, and then a time will come when every child in your house will be highly educated, Insha'Allah Al-Aziz.

Remember, education is the only light that can give you a destination, and in the house where light resides, the coming generations never wander in darkness, and there are so many examples in front of us that there was a time when one person was educated, but now the situation is that every child in that house is educated and holds a high position.

May Allah Karim grant us the ability to think and understand, and bring all my plans to fruition. Ameen Ya Rabb Al-Alameen Bijah Al-Nabi Al-Kareem ﷺ.
