In an interview given to Arab media in 1999, when Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about the future of Israel, he replied that the foundation of Israel is based on oppression, and anything based on oppression ultimately ends.
Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (may Allah have mercy on him) said that no power remains forever in the world. A person goes from childhood to adolescence, then to youth and old age, and then ends. The same happens with countries.
On this occasion, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked at what stage Israel is at the moment? To which he replied that Israel will end in the first quarter of the next century (21st century). He further said that in the year 2027, Israel will not exist.
