A narration states that the inhabitants of Hell will weep in Hell for a thousand years, until their voices become like the barking of dogs, but Allah Almighty will still not have mercy on them.
O friend! Today, a single tear from your eye can draw the mercy of Allah, and if you shed two tears, Allah Almighty will wash away your sins. If you do not weep in this world today, then in Hell, you will weep for thousands of years until your voice becomes like the barking of dogs, but Allah Almighty will still not have mercy.
A scene from a cave in Hell:
Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him) has written that there will be some caves in Hell filled with scorpions. An angel will seize a man and take him to the cave filled with scorpions. He will open the door of the cave, push the man inside, and close the door. It is written in books that the scorpions will swarm over the man's body like bees on a honeycomb. So many scorpions will sting him at once. He will cry, scream, and plead, but there will be no one to hear his pleas, no one to come. He will be alone.
Today, if a single fly bites, you start making such a fuss. Tomorrow, so many scorpions will bite, but at that time, you will have to endure this pain for thousands of years. It is something to think about that today, for the sake of trivial pleasures, for the sake of trivial comforts, for the sake of trivial self-indulgence, a person embraces the eternal punishment of the Hereafter. What could be more unfortunate and wretched than that? (Allahumma Ahfazna Minhu)
