*Objections of Atheists and Their Answers*

Allah Almighty bestows faith upon whom He wills and disbelief upon whom He wills, so it is as if it is Allah's will to grant disbelief to whom He wills and faith to whom He wills. Then why is the servant deserving of punishment for not believing?

Evidence from the verses of the Holy Quran (فَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ)

Translation: So Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

2: (وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ)

Translation: And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

3: (فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ)

Translation: Allah, whom He wills to guide, opens his chest for Islam.

And there are many verses that you can find in the Quran, and all these verses indicate that guidance is the work of Allah, He bestows guidance upon whom He wills and blesses them with the wealth of Islam.

Now, look at the thinking of the atheists and the filth that fills their minds:

*Objection of Atheists: When guidance is the glory of Allah, with the proof of the Quran, then why is this punishment on the servant? On those who do not believe in Allah, while Allah could have bestowed guidance. When He did not want guidance, then why are they deserving of punishment for not being Muslims?*

Let's move on:

Let's assume that Allah wanted guidance, but the servant did not obtain it, which means that it is possible for Allah's will not to happen, and whoever's statement has the possibility of not happening (non-existence) is incapable, and whoever is incapable is not God, so it is necessary for God not to exist, or it is necessary to have a God who is incapable, and who is incapable is not God?

The principle is that whoever's actions have the possibility of non-existence (non-existence in the sense that it does not happen what God wills) cannot be God, so all these things indicate that there is no God?

Objection (1)

If guidance is in Allah's control, then why will He punish those who have not been blessed with faith?

*The Answer with the Help of Allah, the Mighty, the All-Knowing*

Allah Almighty certainly gives guidance, but He also gives the servant the choice to accept or reject it. Those who knowingly reject the truth are the ones who deserve punishment.

Rational Arguments

Choice and Responsibility If a student fails the exam knowingly despite the teacher's explanation, can the teacher be blamed? Absolutely not! Similarly, if the servant rejects guidance himself, then the punishment will be his own fault.

The principle of justice is that according to the law, if a criminal commits a crime, he is punished, even if the government can reform him. The same principle applies to Allah's justice that He certainly shows guidance, but does not force anyone.

Signs of guidance are everywhere The universe, human nature, and heavenly books are all signs of guidance. Whoever knowingly ignores them is responsible for his own destruction.

If Allah forced everyone to believe, then there would be no meaning to the test in the world. The purpose of the test is for man to choose right and wrong with his own choice.

If Allah has given the servant so much intellect and understanding that he can understand his benefit and loss, then reward and punishment will also be given on this basis. If the servant had no choice, then he would not be worthy of accountability either.

*Narrative Arguments*

(1) And it will not benefit you today when you have wronged that you are partners in the punishment.

That is, Allah's punishment does not come upon anyone without a reason, but because of their own oppression and sin.

(2) And We do not punish any nation until We have sent a messenger to them.

Allah makes guidance clear in every possible way, and then punishment is only for those who knowingly deny it, and then the point is that if a slave does not obey his master, then he will be deserving of punishment, all sensible people know.

Objection 2

If Allah wanted everyone to believe, then He would not have allowed anyone to be a disbeliever. Does this mean that either Allah is incapable, or He wants people to be disbelievers?

*The Answer with the Help of Allah, the King of the Worlds*

Allah's not forcing anyone to believe is not His weakness, but His wisdom. He has given the servant freedom to maintain the principle of examination. A student has the choice to study or not to study before the exam.

Rational Arguments

Success without trial is meaningless If all students are passed without examination, then that degree has no value. Similarly, if everyone is forcibly made a believer, then the difference between good and evil will disappear, and what will be the meaning of Allah Almighty's incentive to test, then Allah's warnings and threats will all be meaningless.

The wisdom of choice If Allah wanted, He could have made everyone good by force, but His purpose is that the servants themselves choose the right path of their own free will.

The truth is clear, but there is no compulsion Just as the sunlight reaches everywhere, but if a person knowingly closes his eyes, then it will be his own fault, not the sun's. There is no benefit in forced faith If a person is good only because he has been forcibly compelled, then his goodness has no value.

*There are two types of Allah's will*

*(1) Cosmic Will: Whatever Allah wills, it must happen (like the rising of the sun, the setting of the moon at a fixed time)*

*(2) Legislative Will Allah wants people to believe, but He also gives them choice*

*Explanation of Al-Aqaid Al-Nasafiya*

Surah Yunus (99)

And if your Lord had willed, then all the people on earth would have believed. Then would you (O Muhammad SAW) compel the people until they become believers?

This verse clarifies that Allah has given choice to maintain the principle of examination.

Surah Al-Kahf (29)

And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve."

That is, Allah has shown the way, but has given the right of choice to the servant, so the servant is free, not merely compelled, as the atheists want to explain.

Objection:

If Allah can do whatever He wants, then this means that if someone becomes a disbeliever, then this was also Allah's will, then why should the servant be blamed?

*The Answer with the Help of Allah Almighty*

This objection arises from misunderstanding the divine will. Allah has given the servant choice, and the servant will be responsible for whatever path he chooses with his choice, just as a shepherd grazes sheep and has the choice to take them wherever he wants. If he takes them to a dangerous place, then it is the shepherd's fault because of which the sheep are harmed.

*Rational Arguments*

Giving guidance does not mean forcibly making someone a believer. Allah shows the way, but does not force anyone, just as a teacher explains, but the student has to answer the questions himself in the exam.

Man is responsible for his own actions If a person takes drugs and ruins his health, will the blame fall on the government that banned the sale of drugs? No, but he himself will be at fault.

This is the system of examination If Allah only makes those believers whom He wills, and keeps others disbelievers, then reward and punishment will become meaningless. Accepting guidance depends on man, just as if it is raining, but someone does not open an umbrella and lets himself get wet, can the rain be blamed?

Questioning Allah's wisdom is beyond human comprehension because a human's intellect is limited, while Allah's wisdom is limitless. If a doctor does not forcibly give medicine to a child and he gets sick, can the doctor be blamed? No, because it is his will whether he gives medicine or not.

*Narrative Arguments*

Surah An-Nisa

[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers.

That is, no one will have any excuse that he did not receive guidance.

Surah An-Nahl (36)

And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] established.

That is, Allah has made both paths clear, now the choice is for the servant to choose disbelief or faith, Allah has not made anyone merely compelled.

Request: I request the scribes that at this time the atheists are very strong and they mislead people by asking all kinds of questions. We only have to explain to our people so that they do not get lost, so write and post such questions and answers.

Just yesterday, an atheist made objections to a brother regarding many things, including the faith of Hazrat Aisha (RA) and the parents of the Holy Prophet ﷺ (he called me and talked to me, now I have tried to answer, I have not been fully prepared yet, when I am ready I will send it) because the brother, they look for any point to defame Islam and raise a finger at Islam, you people should pay attention to this.

May Allah reward you with much good and the best reward in both worlds.
