Allah Almighty rewards the fasting people on this night with gifts and honors. Decisions of forgiveness are made on this blessed night, so this night should be spent in worship, engaged in supplication and prayer, and seeking forgiveness. Therefore, it should not be wasted in games, wandering in markets, trivialities, and useless activities. How foolish it is to labor all month and then, when it is time to receive wages, to disobey one's master and become involved in sins, wasting one's efforts.
It is in the Holy Quran:
وَلَا تَکُوْنُوْ ا کَالَّتِی نَقَضَتْ غَزْ لَھَا مِنْ بَعْدِ قُوَّۃِ اَنْکَاثَا
Surah An-Nahl, Verse 92
Translation: And be not like her who unravels her spun thread after it has become strong.
This is such a blessed night that if a person worships Allah in it, Allah Almighty protects him from the terrors of the Day of Judgment.
Sunan Ibn Majah, Chapter on Whoever Stands in the Nights of the Two Eids, Hadith Number 1782
Translation: It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever stands in worship on the nights of the two Eids (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha), believing in the reward from Allah, his heart will not die on the day when people's hearts will die.

Faza'il al-Awqat lil-Bayhaqi, Hadith Number 109
Translation: It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) in a lengthy hadith that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When it is the night of Eid al-Fitr, which is called Laylat al-Ja'izah (the Night of Reward), and when it is the morning of Eid, Allah Almighty sends angels to all the cities. They descend to the earth and stand at the edges of all the streets and paths, and they call out with a voice that every creature hears except jinn and humans: O Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), come forth to your Lord, to the court of your Generous Lord, who bestows abundantly and forgives the greatest sins.
Then, when people go out to the Eidgah, Allah Almighty asks the angels: What is the reward of a laborer who has completed his work? They say: Our God and our Master, his reward is that his wages should be paid in full.
Then Allah, the Exalted in Might, says: O My angels! I make you witnesses that I have given them My pleasure and forgiveness in return for their fasting in Ramadan and their Taraweeh prayers.
After that, Allah Almighty addresses His servants: O My servants! Ask of Me! By My honor and My glory! Whatever you ask Me today in this gathering concerning your Hereafter, I will grant it. And whatever you ask concerning your worldly affairs, I will consider your best interests in it.
By My honor! As long as you are mindful of Me, I will conceal your slips. By My honor and My glory! I will not disgrace you before the criminals. So now, return to your homes forgiven. You have pleased Me, and I am pleased with you. The angels rejoice and are delighted by the reward that Allah Almighty gives to this Ummah when they break their fast from Ramadan.
Allah Almighty's mercy is directed towards us, and we turn towards those actions that displease Allah. On this occasion, I will make a heartfelt request to my young brothers who welcome Satan on this night, angering their Gracious Lord and involving themselves in sins. Music and dancing, jumping around, extravagance, gazing at forbidden things, may Allah forgive, drinking alcohol and even committing adultery are all done on this night. How many young people are there who spend the entire month or at least the last ten days in worship like I'tikaf, but when they come out, they shave their beards under the guise of preparing for Eid.
Similarly, I will also say to my sisters, for God's sake, after spending the whole month engaged in worship, now is the time to receive the reward for all the good deeds you have done. Save yourselves from going to the markets to put on bangles, apply henna, and engage in unlawful and forbidden activities in the name of fashion at beauty parlors. Save yourselves from becoming the spectacle of the markets.
On such occasions, stay in your homes, have good conversations with your parents, siblings, and children, and arrange for charity for the poor, helpless, orphans, the needy, and abandoned children. Prepare for Eid. Make the best food from the sustenance that Allah has given you, prepare dishes, and thank Allah who has granted you moments of joy. Perform Isal-e-Sawab for the deceased, mention their good deeds, and pray for them.
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to act upon the commandments of Sharia.
Aameen, by the grace of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) 🤲🏻💓
